On the Dark Fortress' side, there were only two Purple Robe High Priests stationed to oversee it, along with a mere thousand troops from the Dark Demon Army. All of this was, of course, due to the impending extinguishment of the Red Lotus Heavenly Fire. The timing of the Bright Heavenly Stem Saints' arrival could not have been more perfect. With their strength, they could hold their ground against the Dark Magicians without much issue, especially since all they needed was to hold the line long enough for the warehouse's supplies to burn completely.
