The man in front of him, the City Governor, looked at it in a daze.
'The Seal of the Central City of the World?' He almost choked. Being the only one who recognized it out of everyone present.
He immediately turned away. "Get out. Take everyone away and leave me alone." He grumbled through his teeth.
Although these men could not tell which seal it was, they all understood that their master was angry with them. Although they didn't understand why, just knowing that he wanted them to leave was enough to make them do so.
Within seconds, only three people were left, and the Governor invited them in.
"It's just a quick message. We still have more trips to make. You don't need to prepare anything for us," Matthew said, stopping him from making coffee.
The Governor nodded gently. 'The envoys are looking a little impatient.' He thought, but gave the matter no further thought.
That they came was already surprising and even more so at such a crucial moment. Something was happening.
