Leon's eyebrows rose slightly at the sound of the voice.
"Aurora called for me?"
He glanced at the clock—it was already ten at night—and wondered what she wanted at this hour.
Still, he didn't dwell on it. If Aurora had called him, it must be something important.
Without further thought, he got up from the bed, grabbed his mantle, and headed for the door.
As he turned the knob, he found Syra waiting outside in a light green dress.
She looked startled to see him appear so suddenly but quickly regained her composure.
"I apologize for disturbing your rest, Fated One," Syra said, looking down with an embarrassed expression.
If not for the Fairy Queen's orders, she wouldn't have dared to bother Leon this late.
After all, it was rude—and she feared it might make him dislike her.
Leon waved a hand casually. "It's fine. Come on, take me to Aurora."
"Okay," Syra replied, nodding slowly as she lifted her head.
