Pushing the thought aside, he didn't bother with formalities. He simply turned the doorknob and stepped inside.
In an instant, the interior of the house came into full view. Yet, there was none of the luxury or splendor he had imagined.
It was just a spacious room, with a single bed tucked into the far right corner.
The living room area was wide, featuring a table and two large sofas at its center. Though they looked somewhat worn—perhaps from age—they were surprisingly clean and polished.
Paintings lined the walls, most of them depicting an extraordinarily beautiful elf woman.
