Leon walked calmly down the palace hallway. Beside him, Elina—dressed in a white gown adorned with green patterns—strode along with a cheerful expression.
"What's with you, Elina? Why do you look so happy?" Leon asked, his tone curious.
"Hehehe..." Elina giggled, turning to face him. "It's nothing special, young master. I've just been receiving a lot of money from my sister lately."
"Oh?" Leon raised an eyebrow slightly. "How much? And why is your sister suddenly giving you money?"
He still clearly remembered that the currency of the Elven race was different from that of humans and demons.
While humans and demons used gold, silver, and bronze coins, the elves had their own unique currency: a special green mineral called Tarus.
Tarus, in its raw form, resembled crystal. It was then carved into small coins about two centimeters in diameter.
The mineral was incredibly rare—Leon had never seen one in person throughout his life.
