Chapter 503 - Chapter 503: Forceful Intervention and Intimidation

"The real danger? From you? I've faced Hell Kings more powerful than you. Do you think a reformed demon like you can be a match for me?" Blanch scoffed at the Hell Baron, showing no fear at his words.

"You call yourself a demon, yet you rely on human technology to pose a threat to me. Do you honestly believe there's anything in human technology that could challenge me?"

"Then why dodge? If my tech poses no threat, you can just ignore me!" The Hell Baron sneered, raising his massive handgun. "You can disregard this big gun in my hand too!"

Before the Hell Baron finished his taunt, Blanch launched his attack. Two contrasting powers erupted from him—a powerful gravitational force crushed down on the Hell Baron, followed by a massive energy wave aimed directly at him.

The Hell Baron reacted swiftly, firing his gun. Holy energy shot out, clashing with Blanch's wave in a violent explosion that kicked up a cloud of dust.

In the ensuing dust, Blanch closed in on the Hell Baron, who found his speed hindered by the increased gravity. Blinded by the swirling dust, the Hell Baron couldn't pinpoint the source of the threat, though he sensed it looming.

Despite the Hell Baron's disadvantage, Kara could see clearly through the dust with her heat vision. She locked onto Blanch's position, guiding the Hell Baron's aim.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

Kara's heat vision was the first to be neutralized in the dust cloud. Then, both she and the Hell Baron engaged Blanch in close combat. Yet, Blanch's mastery of gravity gave him the upper hand. Their lack of coordination meant that even together, they couldn't turn the tide in their favor.

The intense clash forced both the Avengers and their opponents from the official agencies to relocate their battles, unable to withstand the sheer destructive power at play.

"Restraining two superhumans, that's a decent contribution, right? I was ready to bail, but I'm still helping out. Even if that Saiyan comes back, he can't blame me, can he?" Constantine muttered to himself while holding back two strange-looking superhumans. His gaze occasionally drifted to other battles, contemplating his role.

Constantine admitted he wasn't going all out, but he was still contributing by restraining two adversaries. However, the battlefield was proving tough not just for Kara and the Hell Baron against Blanch, but for the Avengers too.

Johnny Storm had the upper hand against his fiery opponent, though completely defeating him was still a challenge. Thus, he had no opportunity to aid the other Avengers.

Peter Parker, weakened as Venom retreated, struggled against a superhuman whose hair shot out like projectiles, more powerful than energy bullets. Despite his Spider-Sense, Peter could only avoid getting injured.

As the fight wore on, Peter began to see a path to victory. His opponent's hair didn't grow back after being shot out, and Peter speculated that once the foe went bald, their powers would diminish.

The most dire situation for the Avengers lay with Steve, Bucky, and Pietro. Without Pietro's evolved powers and the vibranium gear, Steve and Bucky wouldn't have lasted this long against their monstrous adversary.

The creature wasn't as powerful as Surtur, but the Avengers were few. Steve, Bucky, and Pietro lacked potent offensive abilities, especially against such a tough opponent. Only Pietro could inflict minor wounds, while Bucky's arm, depleted of energy, failed to harm the monster.

Constantine was torn. He knew Steve and the others wouldn't hold out much longer, but intervening too prominently could make him a target for the official agencies.

After all, Constantine wasn't an Avenger. If he attracted official attention, it would complicate his life, even with his ability to teleport and stay elusive.

Moreover, Constantine's own strength wasn't remarkable within the Avengers. Helping them out of this crisis would demand significant effort, and after just gaining something from Surtur's defeat, losing it so quickly would be painful.

"Bang!" Steve was sent flying, his vibranium shield slipping from his grasp. He was bloodied, his arm badly injured. Even with his super-soldier endurance, he was near his limit.

"Bang!" Bucky also fell, his vibranium arm intact but the flesh that connected it was torn, leaving it hanging loosely.

"I could do this all day!" Steve stubbornly stood again, despite his injuries. His determined gaze fixed on the monstrous enemy.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

At the same moment Steve and Bucky faltered, Kara and the Hell Baron were blasted from the dust cloud, landing in distant craters.

"Just this level of strength, and you dare talk tough?" Blanch mocked, looking disdainfully at the fallen Hell Baron and Kara. He then turned his suspicious gaze to Kara. "You, with powers similar to Superman's. What's your connection to him?"

A faint cracking sound filled the air, almost imperceptible and seemingly coming from nowhere, causing little notice among the combatants.

"Superman? If he were here, you'd be the one running away." Kara rose from her crater, her gaze defiant. Noticing something, she smiled slightly.

"Smiling? In such a dire situation, you can still smile? Do you think the Avengers have any chance? Even if Superman, currently dealing with a locust plague in Africa, arrives, what can he do? To me, he's just an overhyped god." Blanch's expression darkened at Kara's smile.

"You're quite arrogant," Kara responded, her smile unwavering. Despite her injuries, her aura stabilized as she looked calmly at Blanch.

"You… huh?!" Blanch was about to retort when he sensed danger. Instinctively, he amplified the gravity around him and lightened his own, leaping to escape his position.

"Gravity? Ha!" A cold, furious voice resonated as Robert appeared. Before Blanch could react, Robert struck him hard, sending him flying. Blanch's mind went blank, unable to think or use his powers, as Robert's blows kept him airborne.

Robert, having noticed Kara's unstable aura earlier, was enraged by her injuries. Despite being exhausted from his prolonged battle with Kyre, Robert tapped into his remaining strength, reaching his peak fighting power once more.

In this state, Blanch had no chance, reduced to a mere punching bag under Robert's relentless assault.

"Boom!"

"Rumble!"

With another heavy punch, Robert drove Blanch into the ground, causing the earth to tremble as if in an earthquake. Debris crumbled around them, creating an apocalyptic scene.

"Are you alright?" Robert paused his assault on Blanch to check on Kara, instantly appearing beside her. He began healing her wounds with a spell, his concern evident.

"Hum!" As the healing spell took effect, Kara's injuries vanished. She smiled warmly, her gaze soft. "I'm fine. And now, I know you weren't lying when you said you'd be furious if I got hurt."

"What did I say?" Robert, still fuming, was momentarily confused by Kara's comment.

"Nothing. I know it myself," Kara teased, playfully rolling her eyes. She then glanced towards Steve and the others. "If you keep worrying about me, they'll be wiped out."

Robert turned his attention to Steve's group, noting their dire condition and the battered Pietro. Seeing Pietro, a speedster, struggling so much meant their opponent was formidable.

It wasn't that Robert ignored them before; his focus was on Kara. Anger had consumed him, leading him to prioritize dealing with Blanch.

Now aware, Robert wouldn't hold back. He was determined to act, regardless of who these attackers were or their motives. Seeing them harm the Avengers and Kara, Robert had no reason to show mercy.

"Hum!"

"Rumble!"

Robert unleashed a Ki blast towards the monster. The controlled explosion confined to the creature's space ensured no collateral damage.

Sensing imminent danger when Robert appeared, the monster tried to flee. But escaping Robert was impossible.

As the monster fell, every combatant paused. The official agencies' superhumans had been competing, knowing Blanch was the strongest, even able to suppress Kara and the Hell Baron combined. After Blanch, the monster was the next formidable.

But now, Blanch lay unmoving in a crater, and the monster was obliterated by a single Ki blast from Robert, leaving nothing behind. This swift and decisive victory shocked everyone, instilling a profound sense of fear.
