A vein popped up on Jason's head at the reporter's question.
'Out of everything I said, that's what you want to take away? Like really?' annoyed thoughts filled his head, but what came out of his mouth was,
"No, what I said was, football is a team sport and the end point is to win by having more goals than the opponent,"
"Everyone has a part to play and today, mine didn't involve forcing a breakthrough on my flank by dribbling past my opponent," Jason gave a simple explanation, not bothering to waste any time explaining any more than that.
"Are we done here?" he asked after that, wanting to leave.
"Please, one more question," the reporter said hastily before Jason could turn away to leave.
"Despite not scoring or setting up your teammates today, you were involved in three of four goals scored by your team and those three were scored when you were on the pitch,"
