Jian Yufei smiled amiably, "Is there something you need?"
"Nothing..." Awei smiled, turned to leave, but couldn't resist his hunger.
He mustered up the courage to enter the kitchen, "I'll just get some boiling water..."
Jian Yufei had just boiled a large pot and turned off the burner.
"What do you need it for?" she asked casually.
Awei replied awkwardly with a smile, "We've been playing cards all morning and haven't had breakfast, thinking of making some instant noodles."
"Instant noodles?"
"Yes, we like them!" Awei emphasized deliberately.
Jian Yufei noticed they were all able-bodied and doubted instant noodles would be satisfying for them.
"How many of you are there?"
"Just the three of us."
"Perfect, I've made a lot. Let's eat together later."
Awei was taken aback, "That won't do! We don't have the fortune to eat the food made by you, only Boss does. Sister-in-law, I'll just take the pot of boiling water."
