May leans halfway out of the back of the wagon so she can wave more enthusiastically at Katheryne, as if the woman wouldn't see her otherwise. "BYE! BYYEEEE! YOU PROMISED TO COME VISIT!!" She calls out as the woman grows smaller and smaller in the distance.
I'm holding her in place without interfering with her long and drawn out goodbye.
While it's cute that she wants to wave to her friends as far as possible, she's still in a bumpy moving wagon, and no matter how careful Lucas is being, one bump could send her little body flying out to the rocks.
Or it would be able to, if not for my holding her.
Katheryne returns the enthusiastic waving, smiling fondly at May. "Of course!" The waitress calls back to her, beaming.
Her expression turns a little mischievous as she calls back, "I'm gonna surprise you later with a big ol' box of snacks!"
