The moon reflected through the balcony. The city lights pulsed below, but inside, everything was calm.
Riser stared at the blue screen floating before him. The numbers pleased him.

Yubelluna slept, resting against his chest. Shizuku lay beside him, eyes closed, still in a light slumber.
Riser raised two fingers.
"Let's see if luck smiles once more."
He invested 900 points.
Three golden tickets spun before him.
The lights flickered.
The system responded with deliberate delay, building tension.

The system updated the data.

He stood slowly.
Yubelluna opened her eyes with a silent yawn.
"Are you going out, Riser-sama?"
"Yes. I have a fiancée to visit."
He put on a black suit. Buttoned the center. Adjusted the wine-red tie.
Shizuku woke silently. She only followed him with her gaze.
Riser snapped his fingers. A magic circle formed beneath his feet.
"Stay here. Keep watch."
A glow enveloped his body. The teleport activated.

The ruins were empty. A dry scent still lingered in the air.
Sona looked around, speechless.
"The marks are still fresh... But the bodies are gone."
Rias, impatient, crossed her arms.
"You can't blame me. Saji wasn't my responsibility."
Sona replied firmly.
"It was your territory, Rias."
"You weren't watching the fallen ones either."
Sona took a deep breath.
"Enough."
She turned to Tsubaki. The vice-president observed everything carefully.
"President... may I ask something?"
"I already know what it is."
"About Riser?"
Sona hesitated. Then answered without emotion.
"I don't know him. I've only heard what people say."
She turned fully.
"Let's go."

Kuoh Academy – Classroom
Issei yawned. No motivation on his face.
The teacher was saying something about Japanese history. He wasn't listening.
Yuuto Kiba entered. The girls sighed.
"Excuse me, professor. I need to speak with Hyoudou."
The girls whispered.
"Why is he talking to Issei?"
"It must be a mistake..."
Yuuto ignored the comments. He smiled at Issei.
"Come with me."
Issei followed him to the Occult Research Club room.
Red light filtered through the curtain. Rias's silhouette stood in contrast.
She was in the bathtub. Akeno handed her a towel. Issei froze.
After Rias dressed, she had him sit at the table. Akeno served tea.
Rias smiled.
"Hyoudou Issei. Do you wish to be my servant?"
Issei nearly fell off the chair.
"Yes! Yes! Yes!"
The pact was sealed.
A new demon was born.

A black magic circle formed on the ground, etched with golden flames.
In the center, the Phenex family crest shone brightly.
No fuss. No chaos.
The light dissipated with elegance.
Riser emerged from the center of the seal. Hands in pockets. Firm steps.
The dark suit was impeccable. The wine-red tie adjusted with precision.
His gaze lifted toward Kuoh Academy.
"The game piece has just entered..."
A subtle smile appeared.
"...so it's time to flip the board."
