Seeing that Robin was skeptical, Arias began to elaborate:
"There is a historical text in the funerary hall of the Western Royal Tomb in Alabasta Palace that reveals the location of Pluton, one of the three Ancient Weapons. But Pluton is just a battleship; its blueprints are with Tom in Water 7, who is now under my command."
He continued, "The base of the golden clock in the Golden Village on Gaya Island holds the secret of Poseidon, another Ancient Weapon. However, Poseidon is actually the mermaid princess of this generation, Shirahoshi. If you wish to see her, I can take you there."
Arias added, "The Golden Country was washed up on Sky Island and is no longer on the sea. I can also take you to Sky Island."
"You've already seen the segment in the basement of Ohara's Tree of Knowledge, so there's no need to mention that. As for the Sea Forest on Fish-Man Island, it contains Joy Boy's confession."
He then invited Robin once more, "So, what do you think? Join my cause?"
Robin, though intrigued, asked cautiously, "But what exactly do you need me to do?"
Arias was direct, "You are a valuable asset. Beyond your mastery of ancient texts, your sharpness in gathering intelligence and your understanding of human nature make you an ideal candidate for my organization. I need someone with your skills."
"Specifically, what would my responsibilities be?" Robin pressed.
Arias didn't shy away from the details, "I have taken control of Solomon Archibald, the king of the underground world, but I need someone to manage the vast network of power he controls. For instance, the World Economic News Agency, a hub for underground information, is led by Morgans, who works under Solomon. I believe you are perfectly suited to take over that position."
Robin was tempted. Though she remained cautious, the possibility of a stable life without the constant fear of being hunted was appealing. She realized that her bounty of over 70 million Beli meant little to someone as powerful as Arias.
"Alright, I'll join you," Robin agreed, her smile as alluring as a blossoming peony.
Having spent much of her life in the shadows, Robin was adept at using her charm. However, she was unaware that Arias was unfazed by her beauty, having long been immune to such temptations.
Arias handed her a small booklet from his capsule, "This contains a cultivation method different from Haki. It will be beneficial for you. You should practice it."
Robin glanced at the booklet but couldn't decipher it. Yet, she was intrigued by the mystery surrounding Arias.
He explained, "Once you master Qi, you'll be able to control this magical item, which can store objects at will. When the time comes, I will give you one."
Robin nodded, "You are indeed extraordinary."
Arias then stood up, "Return to the newspaper office. I will have Solomon instruct Morgans to transfer you to the headquarters. Your task will be to familiarize yourself with the structure and operations of the agency and, when the time is right, replace Morgans as the true leader."
Robin agreed, "Alright."
Used to a life of infiltration and betrayal, she asked with a smirk, "You trust me so easily? Aren't you afraid I'll run away?"
Arias smiled calmly, "You're a smart woman, and you know that working with me is your best option."
Unbeknownst to Robin, Arias had discreetly hidden a flying insect in her clothing. No matter where she went, he would always be able to track her.
As he walked away, Robin watched his back, murmuring, "What a peculiar man."
After Arias left, she reopened the booklet, "Qi? This is something I've never encountered before."
Arias continued on his journey, reflecting on his recent achievements and newfound powers. Having conquered all members of the Straw Hats except for Luffy, he felt a surge of new abilities.
Stopping momentarily, Arias experimented with his newly acquired skills, manipulating the earth and elements with ease, feeling a deep sense of excitement at the possibilities.
Returning to his thoughts, he marveled at the boundless potential that lay ahead, his understanding of the world and its secrets deepening as he embraced his newfound power.
