Chapter 242 - Beginning of the Offensive II

Upon crossing the portal, the enthusiastic and vengeful elf revolutionary force

arrived at the outskirts of a massive forest, the forest of Yggdrasil. Upon arrival, Anna and Alana felt showered with nostalgia and melancholy.

"We're back here once more…"

A plethora of feelings but too little time, Anna didn't have the leisure. Elysir levitated out of the portal and waved her hands, casting a Limbo around the area. Momentary confusion persisted as the army was confused by her actions. But Elysir made sure she put everything in order.

'Ray is busy, I will take care of things on this side. '

"I will stay with you during the campaign, Anna. But I won't intervene unless anything unexpected happens," Elysir said as the five princesses began giving their orders straight away, creating tents as the campaign was sure to take more than just a few days.

"Thanks, Lady Elysir, please leave it in our hands", Anna bowed down respectfully. There truly was a God watching over them for the upcoming skirmishes and defeat was not even a possible outcome.

"So long as you remain in Limbo, you won't be detected by any of their means. Plan your offensive well… although I don't think too much caution is necessary, thanks to Haku, your force is overwhelmingly superior. Just remember those blessings have a time limit, and as time goes by, the effects may decrease," Elysir mumbled and quickly disappeared.

With both hers and Haku's blessings, she doubted even the weakest of the henchmen would have trouble taking down a much more skilled elf knight. It was going to be a one-sided massacre. Anna and Alana both knew that the question was another: 'How can we take the throne with the least innocent casualties and destruction?'

Decem Hougan was deceptive and cruel, he would surely destroy the Elf Kingdom before even thinking of handing it over.

Anna's army was composed of two hundred skilled dark and forest elves alongside three hundred members of infantry that included beastmen, dwarves and even a minority of tritons; all heavily geared, not all of them had effective combat experience, but all of them were thirsty for blood and blessed by two goddesses no less.

"Prepare to settle down in this camp for the next month, it won't take any longer than that. Alana, Yuna, we should have a meeting to see how we are going to launch our first strike today, we musn't delay," Anna mumbled, earning the nods from the other four generals: Alana, Yuna, Nocturna and Merluna.

...

Within the Elf Kingdom, roughly ten miles away from the brewing insurrection, the capital city 'Crescent Lake' was peaceful for the first time in a long time.

Although there was an aura of tension and anarchy in the air, most of the citizens had already gotten used to this lifestyle in which a set of elite nobles radically controlled the rest of the Kingdom to their liking.

Non-nobles would be technically enslaved, even if not by name, in a country where the military held all the power, all of them controlled by Decem Hougan. Every month male youths would be scouted out of their humble homes to be added to the military, harshly trained and sent to the frontlines to fight against the Slane Theocracy in a never-ending war of bloodshed where the only one to blame was the one not reaping the consequences of his actions, the very king they served.

Every month, pretty female elves from humble homes would be scouted out of their homes and taken to noble households as concubines, slaves... or even worse. Against their will and with no say whatsoever.

Every month, no... every day the elf militia would act and commit crimes against its people with impunity, sponsored by the King who would do anything so long as he could stay in power as he controlled a set of noble families like puppets to keep their shared reign in which they plundered the country ever so slightly every day, one step at a time.

That was the Elf Kingdom beneath the Hougan Dynasty... a nightmare. However, ever since the arrival of two variables, 'The Undead King' and the 'Sun God', things had calmed down slightly as regular activities came to an abrupt stop.

The Elf Kingdom shared borders with the Sloane Theocracy to the east, their enemies. And then to the north, towards the Dark Elf Tribes that were considered their 'vasals' in a rather neutral position. Towards the south, there was the Eryuentiu, a city of adventurers that held little care towards political views and therefore, didn't involve itself in the war between the two forces. Finally, in the west, there were the demi-human tribes, another neutral force.

Nevertheless, Decem Hougan had ordered the troops to move towards all borders and be wary. Farm activity stopped, food prices skyrocketed, and the poor were the most affected as the country entered a state similar as if it was being besieged.

The cause of all this, the Elf King, Decem Hougan, sat in the middle of his room, having a cup of tea, naked and satisfied as the bodies of at least a dozen profaned elves lay on the ground motionless, bruised, and experiencing severe degrees of trauma.

It could be a war, it could be the end of the world... but nothing in existence could stop his hefty and hedonistic lifestyle.

Cracking his neck and tapping his fingers, he stared at the distance from his palace located at the top of the world's tree, the Yggdrasil. Just then, the sun that shone above gained several hues of brilliance, getting his attention.

And from there, a silhouette began descending from the skies.

!!!

His first reaction was to get on guard, but then the silhouette and appearance of this person became clearer as she descended. She was an elf, a forest elf... more beautiful than any of those lying around in his royal room.

Also, she was naked yet shrouded with an aura of purity.

"M-Marianne..." The King mumbled, his mind quickly going in disarray as he recalled the infamous rise of his dynasty as he was forced to destroy the doll that had once most pleased him as he profaned her.

Marianne Blair, Anna's mother.

The same woman now descended from the skies and landed on his balcony, staring at the man with a subtle smile resembling that of one who didn't hold resentment.

Almost by instinct, he approached her with slow steps as if he couldn't believe that she was there. It had to be a dream; something was not right, but it didn't matter, because she was there.

He touched her and felt the perfect skin of an elf in her prime regardless of age, he hugged her and settled his head in her big bosom, instinctively stretched his hands to cup a grip of her big butt and inhaled the scent of the woman who he could never forget. The wife of his rival.

"Marianne, I have missed you..."

A pair of arms hugged his head against her chest, pressing it further until he could almost feel his head sink into those breasts... almost. His hands went crazy, fondling her everywhere as the lust began to rise again like none of those young elves could ever achieve.

Little did he know, though, that the same woman now smiled while looking at him with the most deranged and maniacal of stares as his head sank inside her breasts, and he began to feel like air was a commodity.

!!!

Fondling and caresses turned into scratches, punches... all while that beauty hugged his head and he swallowed black goo that entered his body, and soon it began to feel as if needles were piercing him from the inside.

"Uhm!! UHMMMMMM!!!! H-HEL–"

No sounds were made, some of the elven women woke up in the middle of it, and they found their bodies unable to move, as if a foreign force was holding them in place.

Decem Hougan tried to create a spell, but he was unable to in the mixture of pain that couldn't be described with words.

Drowning helplessly in a dense black goo that felt like sharp stones down his throat, scalding how needles in his stomach... his suffering went beyond the realm of horror; but rather than sadness, those elves around the room paralized held nothing but contempt.

"I was not the one fated to kill you, Decem Hougan. But rest in despair, knowing that the one who should have pulled out the deed, Anna Blair, doesn't have enough wickedness to cause you the despair and suffering that you deserve. But I do~".

"UHMMMM!!!" He shrieked as pitch-black nails pierced his skin outwards like branches of a tree that was growing inside his body, destroying and burning all organs and tissue while simultaneously releasing a toxin that increased consciousness and perception.

"Ten minutes til the end, Decem Hougan. Be grateful that you will be able to delight in my gooey body as you suffer for that long before I shatter your existence and take over your identity. I am letting you off lightly, actually... if we weren't in a rush, I would allow you to suffer for much longer".

"Correct, so end it quickly, Solution".

*WHOOSH!*

The darkness in the room congregated into a whirlpool in the centre from which a woman manifested, so tall that she was imposing and wearing a beautiful white dress. Her white and black hair cascaded down to the floor as she walked with clear steps and sat on the same chair where Decem Hougan had been prior.

For ten excruciating minutes, Haku stared at the sun in the distance that dimmed by the darkness of her existence. She frowned and suppressed her powers, allowing the sun to shine brighter on the Elf Kingdom.

She turned her head around and saw how Solution had already devoured Decem Hougan completely, not leaving even bone dust. The slime adopted her maid form and walked next to her with a disappointed sigh.

"As expected, he was weak. There was no need for master to even involve himself with this matter. Your call was correct, Haku".

The Yokai looked at Solution up and down with a frown, "I still don't understand what master sees in a deranged monster such as yourself for him to allow you to be his pet. A bunch of toxic goo cursed and shaped in the form of a human. If there is a genuine monster among us, it is you, Solution".

The maid giggled and stared down at her with those lifeless eyes, "Surely you jest~ aren't you, a Yōkai, also a cluster of darkness and negative emotions in the shape of a human? Or have you forgotten this is not your only form? Let alone... doesn't master love any of your forms regardless?".

"..." Haku shrugged her shoulders, "I can't beat your argument, you are right".

"We may have this form, but we wholeheartedly wish to serve master as we work on improving our natures to appeal to his light. But, in that category, isn't there someone that's worse than us?".

Both monsters stared at the last monster, an even darker one that had crept up the shadows and fondled the breasts of one of those elves from the back while licking the woman's neck.

That profaned young forest elf was paralysed, she couldn't do or say anything as a hot breath crept behind her. Kurumi giggled and stared at both Yōkai and Slime.

"You have finished your work here, Solution... if you don't have any plan for them, can I eat them?~" She mumbled, referring to all the scattered elven girls in the room that, upon hearing that, began sweating.

Haku sighed, "You are right... this one is incorrigible".

She looked around and felt life force creep up those ladies' wombs as well as their negative emotions, despair and sorrow. They were souls beyond repair and it would take a good massage to kickstart their souls once more into desiring to live.

All of them shared the same characteristics, except for one. Haku walked to the royal bed where a woman lay. Unlike the rest, she was the only one who wasn't an elf and she also wasn't pregnant with the Elf King's offspring. Nevertheless, she was no doubt the most beautiful in the room.

That beauty had been her blessing and her curse, a ticket to the Elf King's bedroom. She was a werebeast, to be exact, one with bunny ears. Forest Elves were prideful creatures, they wouldn't mate with another race that wasn't an elf, not even a dark elf. That is why this woman's womb was cursed and she was unable to get pregnant; she was an object for pleasure, no more, no less.

That ridiculous beauty had made her an exception.

"You can eat those five, leave the rest, Kurumi... and make it painless".

Haku separated those who had feelings and loyalty towards Decem Hougan and those who didn't. The innocent ones, including the bunny girl, were taken to the Moonlight mist, as for the others... they were too far gone.

"Thank you~"

Nightmare was allowed her meal as both Solution and Haku walked out of the room to begin with their secret plans. The screams coming from behind told them that the girl certainly hadn't heeded instructions.

It hadn't been painless.
