Chapter 228 - Too Many Pets II

I thought of giving notice of my departure, but there wasn't really anyone to notice. Even during my slumber, the five elfic princesses kept doing their job relentlessly, and the starlight angels continued supporting them as I had commanded.

So I only told Lucilla, the forest elf noble, and some of the helpers who were ex-slaves tasked with organising the area. The girl took both my hands joyfully as I finished my slumber and told me everything that had happened during the time that I was sleeping.

She told me in three days, two-thousand five-hundred and sixty slaves had been brought in, of which I was supposed to do therapies for at least seven hundred, adding the thousand ones that had already been queued, all of which were placed under a strong sedative and waiting.

There was a lot of work to do as I expected, but I was fine with that. Now that I have recovered, I can work more efficiently.

She was happy that I had recovered and could see that the difference in me was noteworthy.

"Lady Anna and Alana said they would be coming with the next batch in approximately twenty minutes. As for Lord Zariel, it would take him a bit more..." She reported curtly.

"I understand, keep doing a good job, Lucilla... I shouldn't be out for long".

"Yes, milord!".

Because of how much energy Amaterasu, Ophis and Aqua had to use to put up with Katsuyu's requirements, they would be unconscious for a while, so I only asked Elysir to take care of them while I was out.

"Don't take too long, Ray... there are too many therapies on hold. And you, vixen... don't distract him" Elysir hissed towards Haku who rested her whole body against me, including her humongous globes.

"I don't promise anything~ It is been so long since I was alone with master, there is a lot of catching up– hyan!~"

I slipped away from her claws and slapped her butt, "I know but we don't have time for that now, Kuu".

Admittedly I was intending to have a bit of fun with her outside... but seeing those numbers made me rethink my priorities.

'My dear husband, have you slept well?' I received a mental message from Galadriel too, 'I hope you won't stress yourself too much...'

'Sweetheart, you don't have to worry about me~'.

'T-Then if it is not an issue...'

I understood what she needed and spread my moonlight mist in her location at the outskirts of the continent, in the deep sea. Galadriel walked into the mirror world soaked and behind her were hundreds of tritons, sirens. This was by far the biggest batch she had brought.

That exotic elf looked at me as if embarrassed. I had just woken up from a tired slumber and here she was bringing more 'trouble'. That's probably how she saw it, but it wasn't like that at all.

"I'm sorry, my dearest..."

I hugged her tightly, "You don't have to apologise, Galadriel. Keep bringing them until we are done, I promised I'd help you, didn't I?".

She looked as exotic as always and smelled like salt, her robes were nowhere to be seen, instead she wore light attire.

It made me react.

'Fuck...' Goddamit with this virility of the Sun God or whatever, I only had to look at her to react like this.

Galadriel yelped when she felt my hardness press against her abdomen, then she blushed and smiled,"M-My dearest, do you want me...? right now...?"

*cough!*

With a lot of struggle I pushed her away, "Not now, I'll be off for a bit, alright...?"

"Okay... be safe, my dearest" She waved at me, seemingly disappointed... when did that beautiful blue-skinned elf become so eager?

Lucilla and the rest of her helpers quickly worked to get all of them to their respective areas and within minutes everyone had taken their spot waiting for their turn with Katsuyu. I was amazed at their efficiency as they weren't really expecting Galadriel's group.

We had lost a lot of time, Haku yanked me into the portal in front of Elysir's poisonous glare. It was a moment in which we were all very spent and needed affection, it would have to wait just a bit.

...

When Haku and I left the moonlight mist, we had different destinations. Our operations had resumed and I wouldn't be able to leave for long before I had to return so I decided to sort out all matters at hand before focusing on those therapies that would take a huge chunk of my time.

Haku brought me to the northeastern border where we saw an open daily assault going on. The five saintesses were fighting a group of at least two hundred knights on their own in what used to be a duke manor.

There were explosions, spells... but even among this chaos those five saintesses kept their ground. Underground the slaves were being treated by a small group of Starlight Angels as they waited for Haku to create their entrance to the moonlight mist, which she did with a flick of her fingers.

"Damn..." I cursed, this was so much different from before.

"Yes, for the last few days they have increased their defenses as those knights sent from the capital two weeks ago have now arrived at the border, master" Haku mentioned.

Before, they were swift operations. We came, they were unprepared... but now the word had spread, everyone in the sloane theocracy knew what was going on and they had prepared their best security just in case they were the 'next'.

They didn't know what we were doing, but we tried to make it as obvious as possible that Ains Ooal Gown was planting seeds of chaos and rebelling against the Theocracy to divert attention from the Sun Church's development and the elf slaves, lest they were used as hostages or mass-exterminated as retaliation for these attacks.

We left so much destruction and carnage in those fallen noble manors, that no one could expect the reason the chaos unfolded in the first place was to save the slaves.

What had been skirmishes had become full-blown wars.

Anna, Alana, Merluna, Nocturna and Yuna were no wearing any concealment. A forest elf and four dark elves openly fought against the Sloane Theocracy's army when they were in an open war against the Elf Kingdom.

All according to Tsunade's secret plan for the Sun Church to take over this world's faith.

I thought Anna and the girls would need help but I was wrong.

*WHOOSH!*

After receiving my massage, Anna had become a force to reckon. Her new racial trait was that of 'Administrator of Yggdrasil' although I don't know what that means or what powers it gives her... for what I can see she spends next to no mana with her spells that are now categorically stronger.

She created a sea of leaves that tangled the knights and blocked offensive spells while Alana and Merluna, then tanks, focused on the offensive with Yuna and Nocturna giving supporting back up.

A hundred, fifty, twenty, ten... before I noticed only two knights remained.

Alana plunged her knife in their skull and it was all done by then.

Haku and I manifested out of nowhere, coming out of Limbo.

Their reaction was immediate.

"Ray!" Anna shouted with happiness, but she was too slow.

To my surprise Alana flickered to hug me, but once again, she also was too slow...

*BAANG!*

Two massive boobs slapped Alana en-route, the dark elf rolled on the ground pitifully as Yuna checked me all over to see if I was alright.

"Thanks goodness you are okay, Ray... your hue and brightness is back. We were so worried... you said it would only be one day!" She hugged me tightly and sobbed.

When I looked at the beautiful Yuna, the oldest of the dark elves, she was anxious and crying...

I was a bit confused, 'Woman, you're married with kids...'
