"Let's get some sleep then..."
Basil Jaak's words echoed in the mountain cave, and when Bertha heard them, a hint of embarrassment flashed across her face.
That sentence just didn't sound right.
What do you mean, "let's get some sleep"? Who's going to sleep with you?
Under the yellow torchlight, Basil couldn't see Bertha's expression clearly, but it seemed that this cold woman also had a rare shy look on her face.
"Ahem... Miss Bertha, I meant we should get some sleep... not together, separately, ahem, don't misunderstand..."
Basil explained, forcing himself.
Listening to Basil's explanation, which lacked any sincerity, Bertha's dark eyes blinked lightly, and she replied nonchalantly, "What did you say just now? I didn't hear you."
"You didn't hear?" Basil was stunned, "I said..."
"Don't say it. Whatever you want to do, go ahead, don't mind me."
Before Basil could finish, Bertha said calmly, stood up, and walked straight toward the cave entrance.
