"Take off his bat man coat and disarm him, then tie his ass to that chair, gag him too, then take his weapons to my room." Anthony orders. "I'll deal with him tomorrow. No food or water for him until I say so, got that? Maybe that will help jog his memory." Anthony adds over his shoulder before storming from the slaughter room.
So here he was back at the base again, tied and gagged in the slaughter room of all places, now one would ask, why did he return with them? Why did he allow things to get this far? The truth was, he had absolutely no idea.
A big part of him really didn't want to hurt any of these men, but he wasn't about to sit back and let them hurt him either, so why did he return with them? Okay, so maybe that wasn't such a wise idea. Today was his day of making one bad decision after another. So maybe it was time for him to actually make a wise decision, and that would be to get the hell out of this place before things took a turn for the worse.
So with that decision made, he began loosening the rope on his hands five minutes after the men left. With his hands now free, he was about to loosen the rope around his ankle when a thought hit him: if he went out there now, he would be left with no choice but to go through these men.
Exactly what he didn't want to do, so taking a deep breath, he realized his only other option was to wait them out, so with the gag still on his mouth and his ankle tied, he wrapped the rope back around his wrist and went into a meditative state.
Voices outside the partially open door interrupted his meditation, he became even more alert when he heard Liah's voice. He was trying to concentrate on what they were saying when she pushed the door open and stormed into the room, and just the sight of her made his heart skip a beat.
Her steps halted for a few seconds when she saw him gagged and tied to a chair. "What are you going to do to him?" She asks Anthony who entered the room behind her. "Whatever me have to fi mek him talk the truth," Anthony says, glaring at Michael.
"Can I speak to him in private?" She also as,ks, glaring at Michael. "Whatever, just call me when you done." Anthony says before walking from the room.
"Look at you, you've destroyed everything, my love for you, my family's trust in you, the wonderful times we spent together, was it all worth it? Moses, how could you do this to me? To us?" she cried, wiping angry tears from her eyes. "I didn't." He says in his mind.
"Do you have any idea how much you mean to me?" "I do, so why don't you believe me?" "And you just throw it all away? And for what, so you could have unprotected sex with little girls?" She asks with utter disgust.
"That didn't happen, that will never happen, and as the men around here always say, you'll never live long enough to see that happen." He thought. "You know why I'm not removing that gag from your mouth? It's because I don't want to hear any more of your lies. If I let you talk, all you will do is deny-deny-deny, but Jack's sister? Why her? Were you trying to rub it in David's face?" She gritted out.
"There's that name again, funny how that name keeps coming up in this situation." "Is it because Jack is David's best friend? Is that the reason you did all this? You got his woman, so why not go after his friend's sister, that it isn't it?
"Well, at least now I know who that man is and why he targeted me." Michael snorts. "But you know what, in all this, I don't regret making you my first, I'm just disappointed because I expected so much more from you, and I wanted so much more for us. I never thought that you would do something like this."
"Again, I didn't." "But it is what it is, I hope it was all worth it, I for one never want to see you again, goodbye Moses." With that, she turned and stormed from the room, and again, excruciating pain shot through his chest, causing him to groan as tears fell down his cheeks.
His princess, his beautiful Island princess, he was the one who received her virginity, so she will always be his virgin princess. His sexy erotic virgin, the pleasure he had received from her he won't forget anytime soon. She said that he belonged to her, as long as he was on this Island, he belonged to her, and now she had turned her back on him...
A part of him couldn't blame her, Zoey had dealt him a severe blow when she named him the father of her unborn child, Liah and Anthony were only doing what older siblings were supposed to do, defend the younger ones.
But how could he just let her go? When she had claimed his entire body, pleasuring every inch of him with her tongue, lips, and hands and he had done the same, he wasn't even sure he had ever done anything like what they had shared before coming to this Island.
The one person who had made enduring all he had been through less painful was no longer a part of his life.
Inhaling sharply he mmusteredall the control he could find to not rip the ropes off and run after her. She had made her choice, and as much as it was ripping his heart apart, he had to respect it. Funny though, as smart as Liah is, she still couldn't piece together the fact that he had been framed by her ex and his friend.
A few hours later, the excruciating pain in his chest hadn't subsided, if anything, it had gotten worse, a lot worse. Loosening the rope around his wrist, he checked his watch again. It was now 2 am he had waited long enough; it was time he got out of this place.
He was about to drop the rope in his hand on the floor when the door opened and Milton strolled in carrying a baseball bat. "Time for a beat down, ass-hole." Milton smirked. "You like having sex with young girls huh pussy? You disgusting little shit, well, I'm going to give you a beat down you won't soon forget." Milton hissed.
He had picked up a few sayings on this Island, and the saying that best fit this situation was the kettle calling the pot black, because he was sure that Milton was more guilty of such an offence, but still had no problem judging him.
"you come in ya, acting all high and mighty, huffing and puffing through the house like a big bad wolf, lets see how bad you are after I beat the shit out of you."
Milton lifted the bat and brought it down, but before it could connect with Michael's body, Michael's hand shot forward, gripping the bat. he yanked it forward, bringing Milton along with it. he then jabbed Milton in the stomach with the other end, causing Milton to bend forward with a grunt. Spinning the bat, Michael slammed it into the side of Milton's head, knocking him unconscious.
Michael then removes the tape from his mouth, unties his feet, and after dropping the bat beside Milton's unconscious body, he marches from the room. Stepping as light as a cat, Michael approached Anthony's room and slowly pushed the door open, expecting Anthony to be waiting for him. Michael swiftly glanced into the room, leaving room to move quickly in case Anthony shot at him.
But to his surprise, Anthony wasn't waiting up for him, instead, he was fast asleep on the bed. "Some gangster you are." Michael thought, shaking his head with a snort. Walking softly into the room Michael took up his coat from the back of a chair, he then took his knife belt from the table, a gun that was beside it and his sword that was at the head of the bed, he then walks softly from the room, on his way down the passage he pulls on his coat and secure his belt around his waist.
He descended the stairs, turned a corner, and ran into four of the men heading in his direction, all steps including his halt as he and the men stood facing each other. Dropping the sword on the ground next to his feet, he released the safety on the weapon and removed his whip from his waist with a menacing look on his face that reads. I dare any of you to stop me!
As if receiving the message clearly, the men glance at each other, then turn in the opposite direction, leaving the path clear for him. Taking up his sword, he storms through the door. He steps out into the yard and is on his way towards a bike when he sees Rowan, the teen, approaching him, tightening his grip on his whip, he narrows his eyes at the teen.
"Down, samurai, me no have a death wish; me only want to help. How many dead bodies did you leave behind?" Rowan asks. "None," was Michael's reply. "A clean getaway, huh? Alright then, where you heading?" Rowan asks. "Back to Joseph's house," Michael replied. "Oh, you going to Potter's house?" Rowan chuckles while Michael leans his head sideways with a confused look on his face, and Rowan couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Potter, that's Joseph's last name." Rowan clarifies. "Oh," Was all Michael said. "Come on, I'll take you." Rowan walks towards one of the bikes, and Michael follows. On the way to Joseph's house, the teen stopped at a shop. on the outside, there were a few men playing the game they call Dominoes, he gave one of the men a package, then getting back on the bike, he sped away.
"Be carefu,l alright," Rowan says as Michael steps off the bike at Joseph's gate, Michael nods, gives him the weapon he had on him, and Rowan rides off. A few seconds later, Michael was knocking on Joseph's door. Seconds later, the light in the living room came on, and he heard footsteps approaching the door.
Joseph opened the door, a gun in his hand pointed at whoever it was that dared to disturb him at this hour. "Holy shit!" Joseph shouted whispering, dragging Michael into the house and locking the door. "How the hell did you get here? Wait, I heard they had you tied up over there. How did you escape? Fuck...are they? Did you...?" Joseph stuttered, his hands flying to his mouth.
"Relax, I harm no one, they're all fine, well, except for Milto,n but he asks for it." "Is he...?" "No," Michael snorts, "Just unconscious." "Shit, alright, so how did you get out?" "They suck at tying knots." Michael snorts again.
"Does Anthony know that you're gone?" "Not yet." "Shit when he realizes that you flew the coop, this is the first place he will look. Shit...um...lets see....he may not go for this but I have no choice, alright come with me." Joseph says, heading towards the back door. "Where's Jody?" Michael asks.
"She was so worried about you that she fell into an exhausted sleep, but I'll fill her in later. Right now, we need to move, come on." Stepping out into his backyard yard Joseph went through a track. After passing a few houses, he stopped at a big two-story white concrete house with a big red iron gate...
Opening it, he stepped inside the yard and closed it back after Michael came in, they then walked up to the door and knocked.
Seconds later, lights inside the house came on. 'Don't these people ever sleep? Michael wondered as a man with grey hair and beard opened the door. "Sorry to disturb you, uncle, but we need your help," Joseph says in a pleading tone. "Come in." The man says with a sigh, stepping aside to let them pass. "Alright, stop, what is going on here? This man was accused of sleeping with underage girls, so why is he in my house?" The man asks, his gaze boring into Michael's.
"He's innocent, uncle, someone is setting him up." "Do you have proof of this?" the man asks. "Not yet, but we're working on it. In the meantime, Anthony will be looking for him. Now I know it's a bit much to ask, but this is the only place I think he'll be safe."
"And you're sure he is innocent?" The man asks. "I'm willing to bet my life on it." "Very well, he can stay, for now, but work on a different solution fast before my wife and children return from the country," the man sighs. "Thank you, uncle." Joseph then turned to Michael.
"He's my uncle, but he's also a pastor, so you're in good hands. I'll check on you tomorrow, alright?" Michael nods and Joseph pats his shoulder before leaving the house.
"So, my extremely scary vegetarian house guest, are you hungry?" 'One thing was sure about these Islanders, they were always eager to feed strangers,' he thought with a snort, then meeting the man's gaze, he nods slowly. "Alright then, come with me." Turning the man walked in the opposite direction but as Michael followed him, a few familiar photos caught his eyes, and he stopped before one of them, running his fingers gently over the picture.
"You're familiar with the last supper?" the man ask,ed shocked. he didn't expect someone like this man to be familiar with the Bible. The man then scowled inwardly for judging someone based on their appearance. "I am, Liah told me about it. The Lord shared the last supper with his apostles before he was killed; his betrayer was sitting at this table with him." Michael snorts.
"That's true," The man says, impressed. "This one is the parting of the Red Sea." Michael says stepping to the other photo, which was a few inches from the first one. "That's right," the man nods. "I like this apostle, Moses, he went through a lot, I can relate." Michael snorts agai,n moving away from the photo.
"Would you like to know more about the Bible?" The man asks. "I find most of what I already heard confusing and disturbing, but knowledge is power, so...yeah." "Come," the man says with a warm, inviting smile.
Somewhere across the world
Unknown evil: fuck, why can't I reach any of those idiots? I did tell them to get as far away from this place as they could but I didn't tell them to drop off the face of the fucking earth. Where the hell are they anyway? They were to keep in touch, ugh, good help is so hard to find. I'm so close to getting everything I've ever wanted and they are nowhere to be found, fucking idiots. I guess I'll just have to recruit new minions. The man growls, storming from his room.
Chief of police and double agent: "He doesn't suspect anything, does he?" the chief asks. "No, sir," the guard replied. "Good, being a double agent can be tricky, so be very careful, that bastard is ruthless." The chief advises.
"I will sir, but um sir, I can't help been a bit anxious, the king keep sending him on these missions which takes up most of his time and make him feel like he's closer to achieving his goal but we're no closer to finding the prince and I'm not sure how long we can string him along before he catches on to us." The guard says worry evident in his voice.
"You're right, but we need more time to find hard evidence of his crimes, we need to be certain that we're punishing the right person. The moment we have the evidence we seek is the moment that bastard will pay with his life, whether the prince is here or not. Just keep following the plan, I'll speak to the king about speeding things up." "Yes, sir." The guard salutes the chief before heading towards the door.
Double agent and unknown evil: "Hey, you." The man calls as soon as the guard exits the chief's office. "Just the man I wanted to see, you've been quite helpful to me these past days, you may be the only one I can actually trust around here." "Thank you, your high...I mean, sir, how may I assist you, sir?" The guard asked with a bow.
"You can assist me by telling me what the hell the cops are still doing here? And with all the new evidence, how is the old man still on his throne?" The man hissed through clenched teeth.
"Don't worry, sir, the cops will be gone soon, and as for the old man, it isn't easy dethroning the king; you'll need to consult the council for more information, sir." "Fine, by the way, have you heard any news about the three men who fled the palace?" The man asked fishing for information. The guard knew that the three men in question was still been held by the police overseas but he wasn't about to volunteer that information to this traitor.
"They're still been sought by security, sir with any luck they will be apprehended soon and brought back here to face justice, but on a positive note, congrats sir, I heard you were once again chosen to go on a high scale mission." The guard says stroking the man's ego.
"Yeah, that was the council's idea, they say it will help make me better prepared to assume my rightful position but truth be told, I find these missions rather tedious." The man complains.
"Sorry to hear you feel that way sir but the council is right, these missions are a requirement for whoever will be taking over from the king." "Ugh, fine, I'll be back in a few days, be my eyes and ears while I'm away." "Yes sir, I won't let you down sir."the guard says with another bow.
"Good," Lifting his nose proudly in the air the man turns and walks away, with a mischievous smile on his face the guard turns and head back towards the chief's office.
