Raven let a small hum out as he balanced a knife on each finger of his right hand, his left hand was working on a pile of documents.
He had decided to start a business up, and well, it involved a lot of paperwork, thankfully his connections could be used to speed the process up to have everything pushed through.
What kind of business was it? Not on. It was more of a conglomerate.
The parent company was called Inanis LLC. It would mainly be working in a few different types of industries.
Hotels, because he wanted to own penthouses across the world and have ease of access to be able to relax without being bothered.
Food, mainly for helping orphanages get food because he remembered what it was like to be hungry in the orphanage.
Construction, because why not.
Ring ring
"Hm?" Raven let a hum out as he answered his phone. Extremely useful.
"Enzo, you need to explain yourself very carefully in the next moment, or I will rip out your tongue for using that language with me." Raven said angrily.
"Oh? Tell me more~" Raven smirked as he flexed his right hand fingers and the knives were tossed up slightly before he caught them, and then stored them away in his desk.
"A rusted door covered in unknown runes? You have my attention, has any progress been made in translating it?"
"None? Do the runes have magical origins?"
"Good. I want photos sent to my email yesterday. I'll be sending over the rest of the research group to your location. Expect them within a week at most." Raven hung up the phone as he sighed.
Enzo was a good subordinate like always, but the man had gotten lax in how he talked to him, he would have a… talk with Enzo next time they're face to face.

Raven let a small hum out as he focused on the sight before him, it was a bird made out of Dawn Ingots, gems for eyes, and using feathers of his own crow form.
It would become a false familiar for him. Sort of like Izzy, said cat was currently napping in the corner of the room.
Not his true familiar, but a false familiar who he could link his senses with, not that he ever tried that with Izzy, she was more a pet then familiar, but he could do it if he wanted to.
"Now to just activate the runic sequence and… presto!" Raven cheered as the metal bird in the form of a crow cawed as it flapped its ring and flew around the room, Raven activated the sharing sight spell and smiled as it worked, he was looking at himself through the eyes of his false familiar.
"I'll call you, Crow." He decided with a nod and then began cleaning up his workshop.

Raven smiled as he landed near Hogsmeed, the sight of the familiar castle bringing a smile to his beak, since you know, he was in his Animagus form right now.
"Well this year is certainly bound to be interesting." Raven mused as he changed back and began walking towards the castle, but not before grabbing some candy for the sweets shop to munch on as he walked towards the castle.
Albus had told him that he didn't have to take the train to Hogwarts anymore, however the trade off for that was he had to arrive early to the castle.
So he strolled into the great hall calmly where he sensed mostly everyone at. A piece of pizza in hand, because he wanted a slice of pizza.
"Raven, glad you could make it on time. Come join us, pick any seat you like." Albus said gesturing around to a few empty chairs where staff members hadn't chosen to sit.
He took one besides Hagrid.
"Now that most of us are here, some staff announcements. As you can see, we have Raven here, he is studying under a few of you for his masters degree, he has agreed to be a teachers assistant and even teach some of the lower year classes at times. He will hold the authority of a teacher, so he may assign you a student for detention, so please do keep an eye on the detention charts. Now, does anyone have anything to say?" Albus asked and Raven was gonna ask about what the limits for detentions were, but suddenly froze and shivered.
A faint echo of a scream, his own, echoed in his ears, but he knew it was all in his head, so he didn't react physically besides shivering.
His instincts screamed at him to channel pure holy light energy and blast something.
"Oh my, I'm sorry Raven, I forgot to owl you about this three days ago, Minister Fudge in his wisdom decided it was a good idea to post dementors on the grounds of the school. I would recommend trying your hand at the Patronus Charm. I'm sure Professor Lupin, Minerva, Filius and myself would be more then willing to help you learn it." Albus said and Raven only nodded as he let a bit of holy light flow through his body, which did help reduce the effects he was feeling.
"Now, those of you who patrol at night, make sure you do so in pairs till I can have those creatures removed. For your safety and the students, ensure one of you at least knows how to cast the Patronus charm at its most basic level." Albus ordered as the staff nodded.
Raven froze momentarily as he felt a bit of weight settle on his shoulders, it took a moment to realize that Hagird has placed his coat around him.
It was warm.

The time passed by, everyone talking about lesson plans and making bets on certain students getting together.
Raven found himself amused by such things, he also had given Hagird back his coat.
He mused that the holy energy kept the effects of dementors at bay, so he channeled a good bit through himself and let small amount permeate through the great hall, and slowly into the castle.
"Oh, one final thing before the students arrive, I expect there to be some issues with a few students in attendance, those of you who effected will be called in for meetings at a later time next week." Albus said, and in that moment the second to seventh years walked in, they all didn't seem to notice Raven at the teachers table, which did amuse him greatly.
So he used a small charm that would make people glance over him when looking in a certain direction, which was where the students were look at him. He'd blend into the background like the middle child does.
Raven noticed a house elf pop up besides Albus and whisper something into his ear, the headmaster seemed to growl softly while trying to maintain a calm face.
"It seems the dementors are already messing up. They decided to patroll the train for Sirius Black, and they caused several students to have issues and even one to faint." Albus said angrily in a whispers to his staff who also frowned.
"That's not good. Want me to black-, err, convince the minister to do something?" Raven asked and Albus let a small chuckle out.
"No, I will handle it, thank you for offering your, kind, method of dealing with this mess." Albus said with a dark look in his eyes. No one harmed his students when he could do something about it.
"The griffin is out." Raven mumbled and the person on his right snorted their water and started coughing. He smirked.

"Dear students, those of you who are back with us for another year, and those of you just joining us, I welcome you to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A few announcements before you are dismissed for the night. First, the forbidden forest as always is off limits, especially this year with the dementors floating around. They will not harm you if you stick to the proper paths, travel in groups to classes and anywhere around the castle." Albus started off as his voice seemed to be heard by everyone, but never left a normal level of sound.
"Second, the list of forbidden items has been updated and posted outside of Argus Flich's office. Third and most importantly, we have some staff changes. First we are sad to say that Professor Kettleburn has decided to retire, and we are very much happy to welcome his replacement, Professor Rubeus' Hagird!" Albus said and 3/4th's of the great hall began clapping, the Slytherin's didn't.
"This year we also have something special, those of you who have returned to us this year definitely remember him, Raven Inanis." Albus said and Raven canceled the spell he cast earlier and stood up to take a small bow before sitting down again.
"Mr. Inanis has graduated early and is with us to obtain his masters degrees, so you will see him in some of your classes, he will be assisting the teachers in classes." Albus finished.
The great hall was silent, but then everyone started clapping, besides the confused first years who didn't understand the sheer happiness the second to seventh years were experiencing.
Raven was now part of the staff, thus they were most likely free from his pranks!
"Hip hip hooray for Assistant Teacher Inanis! Hip hip hooray!" Of course the Weasley twins were quick to remind them all that they still were here and ready to prank.
"Yes thank you for your very kind welcome. I'm sure we will all have a great time together this year. I will do my utmost best to impart onto you the knowledge and skills taught to me, onto you. You as well Headmaster, thank you for the kind welcome." Raven said as he stood up and held a glass of wine out towards the students.
"To Hogwarts, a good year and many more to come." Raven finished as everyone raised their glasses as well.
"Well said Mr. Inanis. To Hogwarts and a many good years to come!" Albus raised his glass also.
"To Hogwarts!" Everyone said in sync.
Raven took this moment to slip out under a spell, not without a wink towards Rose who walked into the great hall a little late, he noticed she had the same dreadful feeling of dementors around her and wrapped her in a bit of his holy energy before he slinked away.
