"Am I being entangled here?" Cheng Ziang sighed lightly and muttered to himself.
"What are you saying?" Hun Jiansi tilted her head and asked, puzzled since she couldn't understand Chinese.
"Nothing. If there's nothing else, I'll be heading back now. If I don't return soon, they'll start worrying." Cheng Ziang gestured dismissively as he spoke.
"Can't you stay a little longer?" Hun Jiansi showed a hint of disappointment.
"It's not like we won't see each other again in the future." Cheng Ziang shrugged.
"But we can't talk often." Hun Jiansi replied.
"If you're not approaching us with ulterior motives, I'd be more than willing to accept you. But you're part of the Emperor's Sect, sent to monitor us. You might as well fulfill your duty and not lose sight of who you are just because of some romantic sentimentality." Cheng Ziang said.
"Monitoring and having a conversation with you are two separate matters." Hun Jiansi retorted.
