"Why isn't he here yet?"
Hu Le waited nearly five minutes, but there was still no sign of Spilt Water Can't Be Regained. The longer he waited, the more agitated he became, feeling completely unacknowledged. Finally unable to hold back, he approached Miner 01 and said impatiently, "Go tell him now—if he doesn't show up, don't blame us for not being nice!"
"What's the rush? Didn't I already tell you he'd be here soon? And by the way—stop bothering me while I'm mining. You won't like the consequences."
Miner 01's voice was steady, brimming with authority, showing no sign of deference to Hu Le despite his non-combat profession.
"Oh, you really think you're all that, huh? Acting like you're the king of the hill! What consequences could interrupting your mining possibly have? I don't buy your tough act!"
Hu Le swung the copper hammer in his hand, striking a provocative stance. "Your old man here is waiting. Come on, show me what you're made of!"
"Foolish!"
