Elly Campbell took out a mini recorder from her pocket right in front of Sophie, and with a light press, she said,
"Actually did admit it."
Struggling Sophie suddenly paused and both mother and daughter rested their eyes on the recorder in Elly's hand.
"Elly Campbell, what have you done? What do you mean by that? What do you mean!"
"What else can it mean?"
Elly maliciously clicked the mini recorder in front of Sophie, and said,
"Ready to admit how foolish you've been? I hardly said a thing, and you confessed all on your own."
She watched Sophie's eyes almost burst with rage and chuckled twice, saying,
"What kind of people are around Ian Foster? Even if Benjamin Forest is just a lapdog, he's a proud one. You, who are of no use at all, why would he bother to record your voice?"
She stepped forward, gently patted Sophie's cheek, and said,
"You must be quite pitiful to be as foolish as this. Seeing how pitiful you are, let me teach you once more how to behave."
