"Get your phone," Belinda Nichols turned around, her gaze falling on Flossie Wright as she added, "Becca Reyes called you."
"Mm."
Flossie nodded her head.
So, after tossing her jacket to Belinda, she found her phone by the bedside.
Just as Belinda had said, Becca Reyes had called her.
And not just once.
The full battery was now down to one-third.
Nearly thirty missed calls, with only the last one answered, probably because Belinda grew impatient.
"Where to?"
Having donned her jacket, Belinda asked Flossie.
Putting the phone in her pocket, Flossie lifted her eyes and curved her lips into a faint smile, "Cafeteria."
Belinda looked at her curiously.
Students were not allowed to set foot in the cafeteria outside of meal times, that was Joshua Bailey's rule.
She knew it, and so did Flossie.
But—
Since Flossie had said so, the flicker of doubt that crossed Belinda's mind did not prompt her to ask any questions.
