Evelyn Crawford lingered, refusing to leave. "I'll sleep with you!"
"This is the Smith Family's home, Commander Smith and Mrs. Smith may be relatively mild-mannered but they are traditional thinkers. We aren't officially married yet, so sleeping together like this isn't appropriate."
"Ah, the child is almost one year old, what's the harm?"
"Be good," Jasper Bollock slightly furrowed his brow, "go to sleep."
The multitude of formalities seemed like nothing but clouds to Evelyn.
But considering that Jasper was still speaking to her nicely, she thought it was better to behave.
Otherwise, if he got angry and threw her out later, it would be really embarrassing to be seen by the Smith family members.
"Fine," Evelyn nodded, dejected, "then I'll go back to sleep. Tomorrow we can go to the studio and try on the wedding dresses."
"Okay."
Evelyn returned to her own pink boudoir.
Staring at the ornate crystal lamp on the ceiling, she let out a long sigh.
