Jasper Bollock furrowed his brows seriously, he always felt her laughter doubted goodwill.
Evelyn Crawford brushed her bangs aside, "Am I not allowed to laugh when I'm happy?"

His voice was very low, Evelyn didn't catch it, and asked, "What?"
