Kazuya was sitting in the chair guarding the station while reading a newspaper.
Nagazora City is one of the most advanced cities in the entire world, with ME Corp as its center so there's really no need for him to read articles in the newspaper.
However, he's an old fashioned man, back in his time, technology wasn't this advanced.
And he also doesn't want to read the nonsense of the anchors from the television, for him, it's better to go straight to business.
As he was reading, the bell rang at the top of the door, indicating someone's entering.
"How can I help… Daniel?" Surprisingly it was this kid Daniel.
He has that dark look on his face and he can still see some wrinkles in his pants as if someone pulled it away.
"What's with that look? You look like you got robbed." He laughed.
"Close but not quite." Daniel sighed and sat down while placing the box of donuts on the table.
"Oh? What happened? Someone actually dared to commit a crime in Nagazora?" Kazuya narrowed his eyes and was even prepared to investigate.
"Nah it's different," Daniel waved it off, "Met a weird old man telling me about his daughter. Nothing much."
Oh, so it was about time. Surprise it took this long
"Hmmm… so you slept with one of the girls in Chiba Academy, her father found out and now he wants to end you and you escaped?" Kazuya opened the box and took the donut to his mouth.
"Told you so." And took a bite.
"Again, there's nothing like that. Besides, it's about two girls." Daniel's eyes twitched and clarified.
"You even had a threesome? You are cooked, kid. Do you even know how prestigious Chiba Academy is? And you actually went for those sheltered girls…." Kazuya almost choked before grabbing water and pointing at him.
"Were they sisters? If they are, you are actually lucky, but if they aren't, you're most likely dead since there's two fathers coming for you."
"There's no sex that happened!" Daniel shouted with gritted teeth.
"Dad?" They turned their heads to see Sora standing in the door, looking at them curiously.
"What's sex?"
Daniel and Kazuya broke in cold sweat after hearing that.
They looked at each other with their eyes seemingly communicating.
'You explain it. She's your daughter.'
'You do it, your words were the ones she heard first.'
After going back and forth, Daniel cleared his throat.
"What's that? What I said was… text! Yes, that's it! I was texting your father but he didn't reply so I came here personally." Daniel felt it wasn't enough so he stood up and pointed at the donuts on the table.
"See? I even brought donuts for you. Your father is really silly for bringing it up." Kazuya's eyes twitched after hearing that.
Sora, who seemed to have forgotten what they were talking about, immediately rushed over when she heard donuts.
"Donuts!"
Daniel and Kazuya secretly breathe a sigh of relief before glaring at each other.
"Dad? Brother?" Sora tilted her head.
"Don't worry. Just eat those donuts. I'm only here to visit for some time." Daniel looked away from her father and rubbed her hair.
He stood up but before he could leave, Kazuya called him out.
"Leaving already? You don't want coffee?" Kazuya asked him.
"No thanks, I just decided to visit since it's been a month since I last saw you." Daniel chuckled before waving goodbye.
There's a lot of stuff going on so he wants to deal with it as soon as possible. Especially about the possible eruption implied by Siegfried.
As much as he wants to stay, he knows that time is running out.
"Then be careful, kid." Hearing this, Kazuya didn't persuade him further and waved him off.
"Bye! Big Brother!" Sora waved her hand.
"See you later!"

Daniel walked around for a bit after leaving the station. This was his first alone time he has been transported into this world.
It was tough at first but he managed and now he's here.
Thinking of the past month's absurdity, Daniel chuckled. Things aren't that bad here either.
As he was walking, he saw the seaside and the moon above it.
Nagazora is near the coastal area and the lower part sometimes gets flooded when there's high tide.
Seeing this beautiful scenery, Daniel went to the rails to enjoy the fresh air of the sea.
"It feels so relaxing here." He said with emotion.
"Indeed. The sea may be chaotic but when you're on the side, you can enjoy its peace." Suddenly, a voice that made him jump from where he's standing resounded.
Looking around warily, he found a familiar girl sitting in the rails, no, it's more like she's floating.
"Don't recognize me?" She chuckled, her melodious voice sounded like a siren in Daniel's ears.
"I do… you're that girl in front of the school gate that suddenly vanished." Daniel stepped back and assumed a fighting stance.
"You don't remember my name? Daniel, girls don't like that kind of behavior."
Daniel didn't answer and observed her intently. To be able to appear without him noticing for the second time is already creepy as hell.
Now that there's trouble happening, he doesn't want to be caught off guard and pay for the consequences.
"You're no fun." Jyanhar pouted. She then looked at the sea and said with melancholy.
"You said back then you like the sea but is there anything you fear?" She turned to him and asked with a smile.
"For example, are you afraid of death?"
Daniel tensed hearing that but his body still didn't move. After thinking for a few seconds, he said,
"Of course, I don't think no one is not afraid of death." Daniel didn't really want to fight if possible.
Something tells him that this girl is bad news.
Jyanhar hummed before she floated and went in front of him,
"You're lying."
"Excuse me?"
"You, Kiana and even me, death is not the thing that scares us." Jyanhar shook her head with a smile and touched the side of his face.
"The thing that scares us the most…. is loss."
Daniel's eyes widened hearing that.
What does she mean?
"Daniel, if Kiana suddenly finds out you're gone… would she feel sad?" After hearing that, Daniel jumped back and delivered a back kick to create distance.
Must get away from this girl!
Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned and he suddenly found himself on the ground.
"You're not on a level where you can think of fighting me. At least not yet." Her feet, which look like porcelain, were pressing on his chest, as she was smiling down at him.
Her dazzling smile along with the moon behind her created an unusual atmosphere around them.
She wasn't tall, around the same height as Kiana, probably even shorter.
"What do you want?" To his horror, Daniel found out that he couldn't move. It's like an entire mountain was pressing down on him.
"I just want you to see." She crouched down and touched his nose, making him glare in annoyance.
"See what? Your underwear?" He asked sarcastically. She was wearing a loose dress and since she's crouching, he can easily see what she's wearing underneath.
White.
"If you want to see more, it's not impossible but I don't think that's what your focus should be." Surprisingly, she didn't reject him.
"What do you mean by that?" Since Daniel can't escape anyway, let's hear her out.
Jyanhar smiled and pointed at the city.
"Look."
*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*
To Daniel's stunned look, a massive explosion erupted at the center of Nagazora, covering his ears deaf.
