Once Zach was out of the door, he fumbled for the wall and traced it till he arrived at the stairs. Then he returned to his room without the creature's guidance.
"How often does Edna drop by the library after she checks on Sonia's brother?"
"Probably thrice a week, human. I've been watching her for several days. The time she visits the library nearby is not constant. Sometimes she only stops by for 30 minutes, so you need to go there fast once I tell you to. It's not far from here, but you need to pass a narrow alley and use other shortcuts to arrive there without riding a car."
Zach nodded. "I will be waiting for your signal."
He climbed a swivel chair and sat. "Now the problem is getting out of here."
Zach clasped his hands and placed them on top of his lap. 'It would've been easier if we can ask for Sonia's help and talk to Edna, but she will surely question me for sure. Kai reported my activities to her, so she knew I didn't interact much with Edna.'
