To be remembered by everyone

-Eliana

Inside the luxurious room, Laura sat on the floor with tears streaming down her face. Fear and anxiety pervaded her body. In front of her, Alfred, her husband, stood with a hateful gaze.

"Really, Alfred, you have to believe me. I didn't kill him," Laura whispered in a trembling voice, pain flashing in her eyes.

Alfred responded coldly to Laura's words. "Then prove to me your innocence." He placed a glass vial filled with a purple liquid in front of Laura, a deadly poison.

Laura stared at the vial for a long time, making Alfred think that she wouldn't drink it to prove her innocence.

"I knew it, you must be the culprit," Alfred said in an impatient tone. He turned around and was about to leave the room.

However, Laura's hand suddenly grabbed the bottle and she gulped down all the purple liquid inside. Then, the glass bottle fell from her trembling hand, fell to the marble floor, and shattered with a resounding sound.

Alfred gasped in shock at what happened. He watched as Laura suddenly started vomiting blood, and even her body lay helplessly on the floor.

Wasn't that what he wanted? But, why did his heart ache?

"Trust me, Lyan. I never lied to you," were her last words before her eyes closed forever.

However, when Laura called him by the name he once used, "Lyan," Alfred realized something. His eyes opened wide as he finally remembered his first love, Elsy. Elsy was Laura's name when they met as street children, and back then, she was the only one who helped Alfred in trouble. But as time passed, those memories faded.

When they met again as adults, Alfred didn't recognize Laura because some of her memories had been damaged. Alfred lived as a high nobleman, while Laura was adopted by a noble family for having special abilities and became the daughter of a high nobleman. Their family relationship was complicated and filled with political intrigue. That's why both families married off their children to keep the relationship peaceful.

"Wake up, Elsy," Alfred said as he shook Laura's lifeless body. But it was too late. Laura had turned pale blue from the effects of the poison and her body was no longer alive.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry that I couldn't recognize you. I'm sorry I can't remember you," Alfred said with a tone of regret and guilt. In an instant, his heart was broken because of his own mistake.

Alfred cried, hugging the lifeless body. The man who had seemed so cold was now filled with regret and loss after killing his first love. In a short period of time, he had lost two people he loved, Eve who had helped him since returning to the family, and now Laura, who turned out to be his first love. It was all a terrible mistake and tragedy because of his own mistakes.

A brown-haired woman opened her eyes, revealing beautiful autumn-like amber irises. However, tears continued to flow after she opened her eyes.

"Eliana, are you alright?" asked Maria, an old woman who was a caregiver at the orphanage.

Eliana was the owner of those amber eyes. She turned her head to the side to look at Maria. She saw a cyan-colored aura emanating from Maria's body. The cyan color indicated worry.

Eliana had the eye of truth which allowed her to see the feelings of others through the aura they emitted. She can also distinguish between someone's lies and honesty through the eyes of truth.

Due to a bad experience in her previous life, when she was tricked by others because of her abilities, Eliana is determined not to let anything similar happen in this life.

"Hiks, huaaa," Eliana woke up and hugged Maria, crying because of her nightmare involving her past that she wanted to forget.

"It's okay, everything will be fine," Maria said, returning Eliana's hug gently, trying to calm the little girl down.

It wasn't the first time Eliana had cried after waking up. Maria had gotten used to this, due to the nightmares that always haunted Eliana.

After a while, Eliana started to feel calmer, although her eyes were still a little swollen. She released her hug from Maria and looked up at her.

"Thank you, Maria. Where are the children now?" asked Eliana after pouring out all her sorrow. She tried to smile and forget the nightmare she had just experienced.

"All the children went to the fields. Do you want to see them?" Maria asked gently.

"Of course! Lying on my bed all the time is so boring. Besides, I haven't worked in a long time," Eliana said with enthusiasm. Her fever had gone down, her body had improved, and she missed the other children and wanted to help.

Maria shook her head gently, "Honey, don't force your little body to keep working. From today on, let me do the work."

Eliana had been working for the orphanage all this time, even though she was only 10 years old. Before her arrival, the orphanage was in a state of chaos. The children often went hungry and had to beg for food from the locals. The caregivers also went to work, but their salaries did not cover the children's needs.

"Maria," Eliana touched Maria's face gently,"your body is too old to work. However, I don't want to see the children starving like before," she said in a soft voice, her smile full of sincerity.

Maria was surprised by Eliana's maturity. Even though she was only 10 years old, she didn't act like a child of the same age. She looked very mature.

"Who exactly are you, Eliana?" Maria said curiously.

Eliana was silent, she didn't answer and just lowered her face gloomily, her hand slipping from Maria's face.

Who am I? I am just a woman who has already experienced two deaths before the age of 25. My first death was while living in the modern world, I lived on the Asian continent and died horribly by being hit by a car. Then, my second death was in this strange world by being poisoned by the boy she once saved. Was it a curse? Or was it a chance to enjoy life a little longer?

Eliana had a lot of complicated thoughts, she didn't know what to answer to her caretaker, because she had been carrying three identities. She couldn't tell her that she had passed through death twice and lived a third time.

"Maria, what do you mean by who I am? Am I not Eliana? You are the one who gave me that name and this new life," Eliana raised her head again, she smiled falsely.

Maria noticed the fake smile, returned it with a genuine smile and stroked the girl's head lovingly, "kid, I always wish you happiness. I gave you that name because I see a lot of suffering in your eyes, I don't know what kind of hardships you have gone through."

"Em?" Eliana turned her gaze to the side in confusion, she was always trying to hide her pain and many other bad things from people's eyes. Had she been caught? She had tried so hard so far, that people thought she was just an innocent child.

"Well, clean your body first, we're going to the fields, the children must miss you," Maria stood up, she walked over to the cupboard to pick out clothes for Eliana.

Eliana's eyes became brighter, she got up from her bed, ran to hug Maria from behind her back, even though her height was only half of Maria's height, "Maria, I love you very much. That's why, I hope Maria is blessed with another hundred years, hihi,"
