Kneeling next to his clan Patriarch, Chiba looked up at a frowning Minato who stood in front of them as an angry Danzo and an indifferent Hiruzen we're off to the side. The room was filled with the most influential people of Konoha, villages leaders included.
"So you found evidence that one of the most powerful and influential ninjas in the village, Orochimaru, was conducting illegal and inhumane experiments on Village ninja and you didn't inform me, your Hokage, before you inacted?" A clear edge was heard in Minatos voice.
For the Uchiha military police to perfom such an operation without his consent was a clear disregard to Minatos authority as the Hokage, it was especially bad since the operation failed miserably.
It would be akin to seal team six going after Osama Bin Laden on their own without even informing the government about it and failing, letting him get away.
"This a clear slap to the face of the Hokage! The Uchiha hold no regard for Konoha whatsoever and there actions have cause this mass poisoning attack orchestrated by Orchimaru! The Uchiha need to be punished!" Danzo yelled out as spittle flew from his mouth.
Activating his life return ability, Chiba had to manually control his face before his veins popped in anger. He had to use every ounce of will power to not attack Danzo for what he was saying.
"Calm down Danzo, while this attack was gruesome, only 83 civilians and 7 genin had died from the attack, this could be considered miraculously low for what had happened." Hiruzen said as he toked on his tobacco pipe, glad he didn't have to deal with this mess.
"Tell me Fugaku, if you have any reason for such an actions then I'm ready to hear them." Minato said in a firm tone.
Fugaku opened his mouth to speak when he suddenly felt a tug on his shoulders and saw Chiba.
"May answer Hokage, as I'm the one who discovered Orochimarus actions an informed my patriach." Chiba said as he continued to hold his face down in his kneeling position.
"If you speak for the Uchiha clan, then you may speak" Looking down at Fugaku, there was a second of pause before the patriach gave his nod of approval to the Hokage and allowing Chiba to speak.
"The reason we, the Uchiha, didn't inform you of this Operation before hand is because Orchimaru didn't act alone..." Using his observation Haki, Chiba sensed the emotions of everyone in the room change.
He could feel the elated and happy Danzo suddenly became angry and worried at what Chiba just said, Minato's anger lessened somewhat as concern began to well up inside him
"In order to master my Unique Chakra sensing technique, I had to constantly practice with it to reach father and to sense more. It wa during one of my routine practices that i saw something strange." Chiba had already concocted a story to tell from the moment he had asked Fugaku to arrest Orochimaru.
"Unlike every other abandoned training ground in Konoha that was either completely destroyed by a jutsu or just in an inopprotune places, the one that Orochimaru hid below was located perfectly and only had slight overgrowth. This question nagged away at me and i had spent a large part of my training sensing the abandoned training ground, that's when I sensed a faint fluctuation of strange chakra."
All ninja in the room became quite as they listened to Chiba retelling the story of how he 'found' Orochimaru hidden base.
"Although quite faint, I knew that something had to be underneath the training ground. I assumed that Konoha had a hidden base for important matters and didn't want to get involved, but i sensed that strange chakra signature grow closer and closer a boulder i was sensing was sent flying in the air as a strange creature immerged from the ground." although this story was entirelymade up, Chiba had made it with evidence that could be found in Orochimaru's base.
"This creature looked humanoid in appearance but it had wood and branches jutting out of it's body, its massive chakra reserve terrified me for a second before I came to a horrifying realization. Through my sensing, tears were rolling down it's pure white eyes face as I saw a clear sealing mark on its forehead as I immediately realized, this wasn't a creature, it was a Hyuga Ninja!" Speaking through his gritted teeth, it was clear to all that watched that Chiba spoke truthfully as they also had found bodies in conditions similar to what Chiba spoke of.
Orochimaru had tried to blend many humans with Hashirama cells, but ended up transforming there bodies to wood and deeming them failures.
"As I came to this realization, I sensed another massive chakra reserve coming out of the same hole! Within a flash, I sensed that the wood man's life had been extinguised, above him stood a snake like man who i immediately recognized as the Sannin Orochimaru!"
"From that day onward, I had started investigating the disappearance of the Hyuga only to find out that the disappearance rate of dvery clan ninja had suddenly increased by a large percentage but were swept under the rug..." Hearing that such a great conspiracy was going on inside their village caused those not involved to feel rage.
"I even talked to a family member of a missing ninja and coerced the fact that they were told they had been issues an S class mission, forcing them to remain quiet about their disappearance. It was only then that i realized, Orochimaru had assistance with someone with power in Konoha!"
Hiruzen raised his eyebrow as he gave Danzo a look but continued to smoke his pipe, Chiba saw that Danzo's aura color qent dark red as his desire to Kill Chiba was at an all time high!
"I know this couldnt have been the work of a small time official in Konoha, it had to be someone of high status like that to manipulate the reportings of disappearances and the training ground conditions, it had to be the work of a Konoha elder..... or if the Hokage himself sanctioned these inhuman testing on his own people...." Chiba sensed that Minato understood why they acted alone.
"For the safety of Konoha and it's people, I couldn't take the risk of telling the village leaders in case I get killed and have these inhuman experiment continue killing more Konoha people." Minato remained in silent contemplation.
"After explaining all of this to my Patriarch, he agreed that Orochimaru had to be stopped immediately so he sent out a squad to arrest Orochimaru at his hidden base while he reported my findings. We did this so Orochimaru and his partner couldnt cover up the evidence. And after examining the evidence... it is highly likely it was a Konoha Elder who were partners with Orochimaru!"
"What evidence boy! You dare accuse me, Homura or Koharu of being traitors to the leaf and collaberators with that bastard Orochimaru!" Danzo slammed his cane downward as he screamed at the top of his lungs.
Fugaku was able to keep a straight emotionless face, he was impressed Chiba was able to weaved a believable story of lies as he understood Chiba couldnt just outright say he knew the future.
"Enough!...." Minato shouted out Cutting Danzo off from going on another tirade.
"...You certainly had justified suspicion to not inform me about the arrest of Orchimaru, but it still doesn't change the fact that ityour actions have led to the deaths of many as a result. As punishment, I expect the Uchiha to cover the cost of rebuilding all of Konohas destroyed buildings, seeing as your the one who directly destroyed them....Your dismissed"
As Minato acknowledged Chiba's ability, the sound of angry footsteps could be heard leaving as Danzo stormed out of the room. This cost of repair was a slap on the wrist for the Uchiha as it was just roofing or walls that needed to be repaired, so of course Danzo would be angered by this outcome.
Giving a bow to Minato and slight bow to Hiruzen, Chiba walked out of the Hokage building with Fugaku and saw that a slight crowd had gathered outside.
Confused by this situation, a woman who appeared to be in her mid sixties quickly got on the ground and kowtowed.
"Thank you for saving my husband and grandson!" This had started a chain reaction in the crowd as they too got on the ground.
"Thank you for saving my baby!"
"Thank you for saving my mother in law!"
"Thank you for...."
Chiba was stunned by the sudden gratitude before he remembered the Uchiha's public opinion, he quickly rushed over to the the elderly woman and helped get her up.
"You have no need to do that, please get up ma'am! The Uchiha are the guardians of Konoha and it is simply our job to keep all of you safe. The village is the Uchiha's family, of course I'll help my family if they are ever in danger. You would never kowtow your own family for helping you out right? I expect the same."
As the woman looked up, she saw a gentle concern on Chiba's face and immediately got up with his help.
"Thank you so much child" without ask, the old lady pulled Chiba in a deep sincere hug as Fugaku awkwardly scratched his head in the back.
'This kid really has what it takes to becomes the Uchiha clan patriach, he doesnt have that stoic solemn gloom that most of us Uchiha have and is deepening our relationship with the village!'
It was only after ten minutes of similar treatment with Chiba helping grateful elderly civilains get up and being incredibly humble about saving everyone, that he was finally able to walked away with a warm smile on his face that seemed to fill those he saved with warmth.
Despite the warm smile that he was presenting towards the crowd, internally Chiba's stomach was in knots as he felt like the walls were closing in on him as he immediately knew what had to be done.
He'd just exposed his Gravity ability alongside just how powerfulhis ObservationHaku was! He just showcased just how pinpoint accurate he was to be able to break through peoples houses and accurately save the civilians from dying!
Quickly getting away from the crowd, Chiba knew he had to get stronger and thankfully he'd just gained something from Orochimaru that should help him grow even stronger, he only had to pay a moral price for it...

Standing in his living room, Chiba looked at the corpse of a long haired man that laid upon the dinner table. The man was missing his right arm and even though he was dead, his body eminated powerful life energy.
This was the body of the clones Hashirama!
"Man up chiba, you just have to eat his body...."
