Sata: How many times exactly have you attacked me?
Erasa (smiling faintly): No idea… Just be proud that you saw it all coming.
The three main skills of Omnipresence Erasure:
Omnipresence Erasure¹: allows the removal of an individual's omnipresence and perceiving their past, present, and future simultaneously. (Bonus: range extends up to the border of a giant dimension).
Omnipresence Erasure²: allows erasing an individual from existence in all timelines of a giant dimension. (Bonus: can erase even major mythical beings, spirits, and gods of a certain rank lower than you, as well as their Chōshinkū and other fundamental states).
Omnipresence Erasure³: allows an unrestricted attack, usable infinitely. (Bonus: any individual unable to oppose it with their own version of Omnipresence Erasure cannot dodge, block, or divert it).
Sata no longer smiled. A sudden gravity darkened her gaze.
Sata: Raiku…!
Immediately, Raiku appeared before her, as if summoned by her name.
Erasa (disconcerted): What?! But I had sealed her source!
Raiku (calm but unyielding): Erasa… what you tried is in vain. And what you did… is unforgivable.
A silent anger emanated from Raiku, so intense that the sky darkened, and the surrounding landscape seemed to plunge into supernatural night.
Erasa fell to her knees. Her gaze swept the place: the lifeless corpse of Jérôme, the inert body of Nehemi, whose consciousness had completely vanished.
A devouring void settled within her. She realized she had nothing left. Everything that made her wealth had disappeared. And her two sisters surpassed her so much that she no longer had the strength to fight.
Erasa (staggering): I have nothing left to do here… I want to reject this reality… but it's impossible. One cannot escape their own story… sniff... I don't understand anything anymore. I have always done everything to avoid disasters… All I wanted was to live in peace with my own, with those I love. But even that modest happiness… was it already too much to ask? Huh?! I hate this world… and all who inhabit it!!
Erasa sprang up, facing Raiku, her gaze filled with despair.
Erasa (shouting): Come on, finish me off!! My existence no longer makes sense! DO IT!!!
A freezing silence settled. Erasa's tears became rain, and this rain turned into a storm. Lightning split the sky. Howling winds gave birth to tornadoes.
Raiku (hesitant): Erasa… I…
Sata slowly approached and pushed Raiku aside with a gesture.
Sata: No. It's no longer necessary. I no longer want to kill you, Erasa. I will absorb you. Goodbye.
She extended her hand. A pure and shining energy formed in her palm, ready to consume Erasa.
But as the latter gently closed her eyes, her tears turned to blood.
A shiver ran down Sata's spine. What she perceived in Erasa was no longer just suffering… but a source of absolute evil. An abominable being… sleeping beneath the sadness.
Sata (stepping back): What… is that?!
She distinguished a black smoke rising from Erasa's body, dotted with burning eyes, as hot as the flames of hell.
Frightened, Sata retreated further.
Sata: No… this can't be…
The smoke thickened, spread. It imposed itself in space, twisted physical laws, darkened reality.
The incandescent gaze fixed on her. It pierced her.
Sata screamed.
Sata: WHO ARE YOU?!
The smoke leapt, completely covering Sata, obscuring her source.
Suddenly, everything went black. She was alone, lost in absolute nothingness, where only Erasa and she subsisted.
Sata (approaching cautiously): Erasa… what is happening here?!
No answer.
Sata (more harshly): Are you doing this on purpose? I'M TALKING TO YOU!!
She slapped her. But this gesture only worsened the scene.
Erasa's body immediately disintegrated, engulfed by the smoke. Only her bones remained. Sata trembled.
Sata: Wha… what is that?!
Before the bones, the smoke took a humanoid form.
A tall silhouette, wearing a long black coat masking its face.
Sata took a defensive stance.
Sata: You don't intimidate me. Come on, I'm waiting!!
But the being did not move.
Sata (raising her hand): I'm going to annihilate you now!!
She jumped on the creature. But it opened a black maw from which a dark hand emerged, grabbing Sata by the throat.
She was thrown to the ground, unable to defend herself.
Sata: Huurgh… Get off!!
A voice echoed, deep and icy.
???: If I were you, I'd shut up… before worse happens to you.
Sata (panting): Huh?!
A gaze pierced the darkness. Paralyzed, Sata recognized it with terror.
She screamed.
Sata: I remember you… Lucifer! The source of my being! It was YOU who sent me to offer the apple to Eve! You promised me a reward if I did it… But you lied! You CURSED me! I HATE YOU! You can't know how much!!
Lucifer's gaze remained impassive.
Lucifer: What could I do with you, but erase you from existence? You no longer mattered to me. You were only useful for Adam and Eve… and after that, you were nothing.
Sata (gritting her teeth): Grrr! You promised…
Lucifer: And I gave you your reward. You still live. You are no longer an insignificant reptile. You have become an entity, a sin incarnate. You can do whatever you want… But if I materialized today, it's because you dared to touch what I hold most precious.
Sata (mocking): Oh yeah? And what is that?
Lucifer: My daughter. Erasa. If you dare make her suffer again… I will make you pay in the most absolute pain.
Sata (snickering): Her? Despite all that power… to me, she's just a banal being. I just have to snap my fingers for her to beg. Before me, she is nothing. For Erasa… I am a god.
Lucifer: What's ironic is that I too… see you as one sees an insect. And since you want to make my daughter suffer, then I will deal with you… now.
Sata: What?!
Lucifer entered her. Her body turned an absolute black. A pain so intense she cried blood. She could no longer move.
Sata (screaming): What are you doing to me?! Stop, I beg you! I will never come back here again! Aaaaaaah!!!!
Then, as if waking from a dream, she reopened her eyes facing Erasa.
Sata: Erasa… you're not dead?
Erasa (cold): No. What are you waiting for to erase me?
But Sata stepped back, trembling.
Raiku: Sata? What's wrong with you?
Erasa (worried): You're acting strangely… What are you doing?
Sata (shouting): Don't come near me, Erasa. I never want to see you again. Got it?!
Erasa (lost): Huh? But…
Sata rose into the sky.
Sata: Raiku, let's leave here! Let's get out of this place, quickly!
Raiku, terrified, spread her wings and followed her.
Both then left the world of Erasa.
Erasa remained alone. The corpses surrounded her. Only Nehemi still lived… but her mind had disappeared.
Silent, Erasa sat beside her and gently laid her head on her knees.
Her tears fell, tirelessly, on her sister's sleeping face.
It was then that a familiar voice rose behind her.
Lucifer: Erasa…!
She turned around. It was her father. He saw her crying.
She threw herself into his arms, sobbing.
Erasa: Father… they are dead… I will never see them again… I miss them so much already…!
Lucifer held her tightly.
Lucifer: Enough, Erasa. I hate to see you cry like this…
Erasa: But… I have nothing left, father. Nothing at all…!
Erasa's sobs echoed in the void.
Erasa's sobs, born of her grief, grew more and more disturbing. Lucifer, silent, could not help but think that throughout this story, Erasa had been, from the beginning, only a victim. She had never been anything else. A prey to events, never their master.
It was his duty, as a father, to protect her, but also to raise her so she would stop being trapped in this victim posture.
Lucifer: "Erasa… dry your tears. I will fix all this."
With a gentle gesture, he wiped the tears from his daughter's cheeks. Slowly, Erasa raised her eyes to him, plunging her gaze into her father's.
Erasa: "Sniff... Can you really do it, father?"
Lucifer: "Actions speak louder than words. Do you no longer have faith in me, my little Erasa?"
At these words, an invisible breath swept the world. Everything returned to its rightful place.
Erasa's subjects came back to life, their souls recalled from oblivion. And Nehemi, she, opened her eyes: her consciousness had just been restored. Erasa could not believe her eyes.
Erasa: "Father, but… how is this possible?"
Lucifer: "I did it for you. Because you are my treasure, and when a treasure is damaged… it is the master's duty to take care of it."
Erasa: "Father, thank you! Thank you so much!"
She threw herself into his arms. Her tears of sorrow had turned into pearls of joy. She now smiled, radiant, and her father felt great pride growing within him.
Erasa: "But… father, why do they act as if they cannot see us?"
Indeed, although they had all returned, none seemed to perceive either Erasa or Lucifer. Their gazes wandered in the void, their gestures lacked skill.
Lucifer: "We are simply imperceptible and invisible. And since you are in my arms, you share this same state."
Erasa: "Ah… I understand better, father. Will you allow me to appear to them?"
Lucifer: "Not in that outfit."
He then made a new attire appear, designed for her. A ceremonial outfit, woven of light.
Lucifer: "Now, you can go."
She hugged him again, tenderly.
Erasa: "I love you, father!"
And when she released him, her presence immediately became perceptible. Nehemi and Jérôme saw her, and their eyes filled with emotion.
Nehemi: "Lord Erasa… is it really you, this time?"
Erasa rushed to her and Jérôme, enveloping them in a sincere embrace.
Jérôme: "Hmph… at least this time, we are sure: it is indeed our Lord Erasa."
All the subjects were there, gathered, moved and proud to see their sovereign back after so many years.
Lucifer, for his part, watched them from above, silent.
Lucifer: "Hmm… Erasa, I will do everything in my power so that misfortune never reaches you again. You can count on me."
