Less than ten minutes had passed, and Enna Clark had already arrived at Lawrence Headquarters.
"Good day, Secretary Clark," the receptionist greeted her promptly upon seeing her.
With a slight upward curve of her lips, Enna Clark politely returned the greeting, "Good day."
Then she headed for the elevator.
She was going to the President's office, so she took the Exclusive Elevator directly. Initially, this elevator was installed with a fingerprint recognition system and could only be ridden by Baron Lawrence. Later on, someone imperiously added her fingerprint too, hence it became accessible to just her and Baron Lawrence.
Since it could save time by going directly to the 66th floor, Enna Clark certainly didn't want to waste time stopping at every other floor.
Two minutes later.
"Ding—" The elevator chimed, announcing her arrival at the desired floor.
