Seeing James Black furrowing his eyebrows and staring at her with a cool gaze, Jane Sampson quickly picked up her bowl and moved to sit next to Old Master Black.
She didn't have any particular reason, just the fear that James Black might tell her not to be picky about her food and then give back to her the stuff she had painstakingly sorted out.
Brooke Black looked at Jane Sampson with amusement and couldn't help but let out a soft laugh.
She could tell that Jane was getting better at understanding James Black's temperament.
"By the way, James, for this vacation, are you and Jane planning to stay at the Black Residence, or are you planning to go back to your place? If you're staying here, I can ask the cook to prepare more of the food you both love in the next few days," Brooke Black asked.
"We'll stay for one day tomorrow, and go back home after dinner the day after tomorrow." The arrangement was also so James could spend some time with the three seniors in the house.
