She slightly lifted her drooping short hair and lowered her head to sip the oatmeal porridge with a milky flavor.
Charles Green watched her actions and asked, "Can you accept it?"
Norris Moore's brow remained furrowed as she nodded.
A servant came to prepare food for Charles Green.
Halfway through his meal, Charles noticed Norris, who had been eating with her head down, suddenly stand up and run towards the dining room door, covering her mouth.
He sat in his chair, watching her lean over the trash can, retching violently; then he sighed slightly and walked over to hand Norris a paper towel.
"Thank you." The woman kneeling on the ground seemed even paler from vomiting. Her long hair, cut due to surgery, stuck to her sweat-covered face, giving her a pitifully drained appearance.
Charles Green reached out to help her up from the ground and said, "Shall I take you to the bedroom to rest?"
