While they were talking, an assassin tried to attack Licht. Licht just blocked the attack with his light magic without even noticing the assassin.
Astrea said, "Sir, who is that attacking you?"
Licht said, "What? There's an attack? What? Where? Where is the bastard? Is someone hurt?"
Alysa said, "Yeah, that someone is you."
Anew said, "What?!"
Licht just went, "Oh yeah, I forgot—there are people who want to kill me for some reason."
Hedin said, "How can you be such an idiot that you don't even realize people want to kill you?"
Licht said, "It's over 15,000 now—how can I possibly remember all of them? I wouldn't even remember it if it wasn't for Roy. I lost count at 15 or something close to that."
Alysa said, "By the way, have you heard of Iris?"
Licht said, "Yeah. She's in the ICU, fighting for her life. But it's all crap—I know she'll survive."

Astrea and Anew, confused, asked, "Then what is it like?"
Hedin said, "Trust me, you don't wanna know. Your captain has made that joke over 10,000 times when we were young."
Astrea and Anew screamed, "Wait, WHAT?! Our captain can joke?!"
