Sienna Johnson felt wronged too. After all, she was a woman. Although her life had been arduous, the past five months were beyond terrifying. She guessed ordinary people might never experience such hardships in their entire lives.
"Feeling wronged?" Adrian Desmond asked. She dared to glare at him after he'd only said a few words. He felt like he'd spoiled her rotten.
Sienna remained silent, but her eyes reddened.
"Don't cry. I can't stand it when you cry." Seeing Sienna's red-rimmed eyes and the tears starting to fall, Adrian grew agitated. "What are you crying for? I didn't hit you or scold you."
"You didn't hit me, and you didn't scold me, but you want me to die!" Sienna pushed him, retorting unreasonably, "If you want me dead, then go! If you leave, I'll never make it out of this jungle alone."
"ARGH!" Adrian cried out as she pushed him.
Concerned, Sienna immediately asked, "Adrian, are you alright?"
