By the time the summer social season came, Liu Wei's actions still managed to remain undetected by the Vampire Hunter Association. With Hugo now actively helping him - not in person, of course, but just by sending his subordinates to various locations pointed out by Liu Wei, to turn vampire hunters into vampires under their command - they managed to create a large force of their own within the Association. With their new subordinate vampires working together to cover up their tracks and escape detection, Liu Wei's plan was able to progress quickly and efficiently.
However, just because they remained undiscovered, that didn't mean their actions weren't without any consequences. SOMETHING was changing within the kingdom, and everyone could tell it, from the high nobility sipping tea in their fancy salons, to the poor peasants barely scraping by, living day by day on dry bread.
