Korosim didn't respond to Neresa's words. Although he remained silent, even he couldn't help but think the words true.
He landed on a tree and blasted forward once more, evading the slash that threatened to cleave him into two.
They had been luring the child god and his subordinate for a few moments already, and it didn't seem as though he had suspected anything. They might actually be able to kill a god. Or in this case, get one killed.
Despite this fact, Korosim kept a level head. They couldn't let their guards down.
A god was only all powerful in their world. Outside it, they were practically the same as any other, except for the incredible boost to their will given by their worlds. What it meant was simple enough: they could be killed, if done right.
Korosim narrowed his eyes at the front. The beacon was getting closer.
'Get ready to teleport. We're almost there.' He said. Neresa turned to look at the approaching beacon and gave a firm nod.
