I really needed to find a way to handle the mystical side of the world as I was too focused on the super scientific side of things. This left a massive hole in my defenses that I was unaware of until the League pulled me from my home. Unfortunately I didn't really have time to tackle it head on right now so that would need to be on the back burner until then. The girls were pissed about my abduction regardless of of who it was in fact they were furious when they found out exactly who it was.
Apparently my last run in with the League was burned into their collective memories as they were beyond outraged. It took a lot of effort to make them less likely to attack the League and I was forced to point out more than once that they were regarded as heroes and not everyone was involved in the prior incident. It didn't calm them down even a little but at least they listened although reluctantly I knew that I couldn't bring them with me with how they were acting so decided to bring a more neutral entourage rather than openly hostile harem members.
Jean was still at Emma's school as she liked the environment even if she hated Emma. Emma refused to leave the school as war was possibly on the horizon and didn't want to leave her daughters or students vulnerable. The Mortis goddess known as the daughter was my only true option out of the goddess as Barda and Knockout were warriors first and were too risky to bring along. Selene was malicious but now loyal yet I needed her to guard Emma's school.
I decided to bring M'shen because she was perfect in this situation should anything go sideways but I had to leave Black cat and cat woman behind. The two were currently busy with espionage work assignments from M'shen. I couldn't pull any of my harem from science side as we needed to accelerate the time table for the false Traveler project. There was also Medusa who immediately volunteered herself after finding out about the upcoming meeting. It was a perfect opportunity to try and win her over and keep an eye on her. I also needed to bring Natasha as Shield would definitely want to know what is going on during the meeting and whether or not they should make a preemptive strike against the Thanagarians.
With entourage decided it was finally time to go meet with up jumped pigeons. I didn't rush as I already declared that I didn't see them as people and me going out of my way to show any level of courtesy or respect would be counter productive to the image I was cultivating. Instead I took my time like a person reluctant to breathe the same air as them. Although I was acting M'shen really meant exactly what she felt honestly her hatred gave me something of a base template for my character.

The Thanagarians made a great effort to ingratiate themselves to me as beautiful female Thanagarians lead us to the meeting room. They weren't the only ones but I could tell the hallway we were taken through was just different from the one that the other representative must have come through. Every Thanagarian in this particular path just so happened to be female and esthetically pleasing yet intel that I received from Shield was that the dignitaries went through security with burly guards. According to the intelligence they standoffish and almost hostile ready to fight and yet again I was given different treatment the ladies were pleasant and attentive the stark contrast almost gave Natasha whiplash.
The demure women ignored my anti-Xeno attitude and continued to like I was the best thing to ever happen to them without being over the top. It was clear that this was a honey pot and they weren't even trying to be subtle. The offer was overly blatant and if I didn't already have my harem and a lot invested in earth I probably would have openly walked into this.
When we finally arrived at the negotiation room Natasha had a deep frown that she didn't need to hide as our guides didn't care. I could see that we were the last to arrive as we were taken along a more scenic route and our seating was arranged with obvious snacks according to my taste from various social media posts. It would also appear that I was seated closer to Hawkgirl who was seated mostly away from the rest of League. She didn't seem like this was her idea in fact she seemed resigned to her fate rather than excited to see me or apprehensive. This was clearly the decision of the Thanagarian leadership handing her over to me likely as a concubine and the others from before were to gage my taste or to be offered later depending upon the circumstances. I was brought back to the present by the raccoon clearing his throat.
