Chapter 85 - 3.47

As we rushed at him, Kyuubi practically ignored Hiruzen as he pounced at me, roaring, "Get that thing out of me!"

I was surprised he was capable of sensing my Force Seed. Did that come from him being an energy being, or his strong Spiritual Energy?

Nonetheless, I dodged out of his attack's way, before latching on his arm. Doing so, I felt the state his Chakra was in, and while he had lost a chunk, he still had more left than Isobu's entire Chakra pool.

Meanwhile, Hiruzen appeared right above Kyuubi's head, and smashed his staff down. The strike had considerable power behind it as it forced Kyuubi's head down.

Hiruzen was not done though as he started performing precise strikes with his staff all around Kurama's body, hitting just in the right places to stop Kyuubi from retaliating.

Each of his strikes were perfectly augmented with Chakra too as they all visibly hit the fox, making him recoil from each strike.

As for me, I prepared for a big attack.

Size matters not.

Gravity matters not.

Mass matters not.

The Force permeates everything.

Size matters not.

I started repeating the chant in my head as the rocks and trees in the surroundings started being lifted off the ground.

Meanwhile, Minato finished his preparation as he had slightly changed compared from before. His eyes now had an orange hue around them, and his pupils had turned into a toad's. He had entered Sage Mode.

Looking like he had teleported, which he might, Minato suddenly appeared above Kurama, and summoned a giant toad, one barely smaller than Kyuubi as it fell on him and crushed him to the ground.

With Kurama now immobilized, Minato rushed at his head, slamming a Rasengan right onto his face, which unfortunately did not have much effect. So Minato instead started moving rapidly, placing numerous explosive tags all around Kyuubi's head.

Meanwhile, Hiruzen stood back just like me, preparing his attack as well as he held his staff against a tree, and started expanding it. As one end was against a tree, the other, which Hiruzen was holding, rapidly lengthened, bringing Hiruzen with it.

Size matters not.

As for Minato, he was still harassing Kyuubi, planting countless tags on him while occasionally hitting Kyuubi with especially powerful Rasengans that were powered by his Sage Mode.

Gravity matters not.

Hiruzen's staff disappeared, before I barely noticed a giant, thin line stretch into the sky some distance from us. And it started falling our way.

Mass matters not.

Picking up speed, Hiruzen's staff was lit on fire from the speed of its descent as it now looked like a fiery pillar was descending towards us. Towards Kurama, to be precise.

Showing impeccable reaction speed and battle awareness, Minato disappeared from Kyuubi along with his Toad summon at the last possible moment, leaving no room to Kyuubi for dodging as the giant fiery club whipped into his back.

The strike was so powerful that Kurama slammed into the ground, digging several meters into the ground as he now had a large black line on his back.

But at the same time, Hiruzen's staff disappeared, probably damaged from the attack. It was supposed to be hard as a diamond, but even diamonds had their limits.

The Force permeates everything.

I was finally done with my attack myself as a mini Chibaku Tensei like ball had appeared in the sky. And surrounding it were countless trees, aimed at Kyuubi.

With a wave, I fired all the trees like spears at Kyuubi, followed by the ball of destruction. Although it wasn't the size of the real Chibaku Tensei, it was still good enough to hurt Kyuubi.

The ground shook as all we were left with was destruction.

The surroundings had been completely ravaged, but Kyuubi's presence was only a fraction of what it was before.

Breathing out a tired breath, I saw Minato appear next to me, looking at the devastation intently, and said, "Bring your wife here. And your son. You don't want him to be attacked while you are away."

Minato looked at me in surprise as he asked, "Are you sure Kyuubi has been defeated?"

I shook my head, replying, "He still has some fight into him, but I'm confident in being able to seal him into your wife. Quick, before she passes."

Minato nodded, and disappeared, only to reappear a few seconds later, supporting his wife with one arm and holding his son with the other.

He carefully placed his son on the ground, before making a handsign with his freed hand, making a shrine appear. He laid Kushina and on it, and turned to me.

I nodded heavily at him, and turned to the rubble just in time to see a giant claw come out of the ground. It was quickly followed by the rest of Kyuubi's upper body, as the fox groaned, "You damned humans, you won't seal be back into that woman!"

He swung his claw towards us, but I held out my hand, and activated the Force Seed.

Kyuubi suddenly froze, before muttering, "What is this-"

But before he could even finish what he had to say, his body started rapidly turning into energy, which gathered around the Force Seed.

In a matter of seconds Kyuubi had been turned into a deep orange ball of Chakra, hovering towards me. It was quite unstable, so without wasting any time I plunged it into Kushina's stomach, where her previous seal used to be.

Kushina screamed in pain at that as the unrestrained power of Kyuubi's Chakra entered her body. Thankfully, her body had grown used to this power over the years, allowing her to hold on while I took out my sword, and stabbed it into her heart.

Minato looked shocked, but I ignored him as I closed my eyes, holding Shiroishi.

This was a vastly different work compared to that time with Isobu and the child from Kiri. Both the Tailed Beast and the Jinchuriki were much stronger, but I had also grown myself.

With my deep connection to Kushina and Kyuubi, I could now feel the strong lifeforce of Kushina. As expected, large parts of it were torn, from Obito's rough separation of her and Kyuubi. The wounds on her lifeforce were so large that it was quickly dissipating, and Kyuubi's Chakra wasn't helping as it was actively burning it, instead of merging back.

Speaking of Kyuubi, he was trying hard to resist, to destroy this body and get out of it, but with a command to the Force Seed implanted in him, I stopped his struggles.

This was a technique I had made with large targets like Kyuubi in mind. Although the use of a Force Seed made it a little similar to Cryokinesis, here, instead of pushing the lifeforce out of the body, it absorbed it, making the Force Seed grow with the absorbed lifeforce.

And because it was powered by the lifeforce of whoever it was sent into, if it grew strong enough it could temporarily hold some level of control over it.

The technique had its own shortcomings, but it was perfect for now.

Using the Force Seed as a proxy, I did the opposite of what I had done for Isobu, as I sealed Kurama within Kushina.

The process in itself was a little different though.

The most important thing to do right now was to patch up Kushina's lifeforce, to stop it from leaking. But because of how bad it was, I couldn't just heal it using her own lifeforce. Thankfully, she had a strong connection with Kyuubi already, having had him sealed in her for years.

I couldn't just pour all of Kyuubi's Chakra into her though, that would just kill her, and make the healing process harder. Instead, I formed a small stream of continuous Chakra, which flowed into Kushina's lifeforce.

I then slowly incorporated the incoming energy into Kushina's own lifeforce, revitalizing her as I healed her.

As time passed, the Force Seed containing Kyuubi's energy started growing more and more unstable, but before it could explode I managed to finish the operation.

Pulling the Force Seed into my own body, I gained complete ownership of it as it stopped self-destroying, and entered a kind of stasis. I had effectively stolen a part of Kurama's lifeforce.

Still, Kushina still had more than enough Chakra and lifeforce herself as by the time I pulled Shiroishi out of her, I barely had anything to do as the incredible vitality of her clan worked alongside Kurama's to almost heal her on its own, barely needing my assistance to heal the heart wound.
