[Divyansh's Thoughts – Internal Monologue]
And now... he's inviting me to their engagement. Of course. He just wants to mock me. Taunt me. Show me he won.
But how the hell did he end up getting engaged to her?
All this time I thought… finally, after years, I met my first love again. She was single. It felt like a miracle. Like the universe was finally giving me a second chance.
I thought maybe… just maybe… God kept her single for me.
But no—he got to her first.
Still, it's not over. Not yet.
She's not married yet… she's not even engaged yet.
There's still time.
There's still a chance—for me.
Abhi: Divyansh! Are you even listening?
Divyansh (snapping out of it): Yeah, sorry. I'm getting a call... I'll catch you guys later.
Abhi (calmly): Sure.
[Hospital Corridor – Abhi and Ishana walking toward his cabin]
Ishana (quietly): Hmm...
Abhi: (They walk in silence. They reach the cabin. Abhi closes the door behind them. He walks over to the couch and sits down. Ishana follows and sits beside him.)
Abhi: What do you want to eat? I'll order something.
Ishana: Anything is fine.
Abhi (smirks): Anything? That's not helpful. Come on, give me a proper answer—how am I supposed to read your mind?
Ishana (laughs softly): Okay, okay! Pizza.
Abhi: Better. Pizza it is.
(He pulls out his phone to order. She's quiet for a moment, then speaks.)
Ishana: Now tell me... what do you remember about last night?
Abhi (internally): Shit... whay do I even say? I barely remember anything after her cousin left...
Abhi (stalling): Why? Don't you remember anything?
Ishana: No. Not after we started drinking. I woke up with a headache... and next to you. That's all I remember.
Abhi (teasing): How can you forget such a special night?
Ishana: Huh?! What the hell happened last night?
Abhi (grinning): Maybe I should recreate the moment for you. This time, I'll make sure you never forget it.
(He leans in closer. She starts to lean back slightly, but he places his hand firmly on the couch's backrest, blocking her escape. He's just inches away now, his eyes locked onto hers. The tension rises—electric, unspoken.)
Suddenly, something flashes in Abhi's mind—a memory. His eyes widen slightly.
[FLASHBACK – LAST NIGHT]
(The group is in a cozy, dimly light, laughter echoing around. They're seated in a circle. A bottle sits in the center—Truth and Dare in full swing.)
Abhi: Alright! My turn to spin it.
(The bottle spins... and stops at Cousin 2.)
Ishana (grinning mischievously): Ohh! It's my cousin! Truth or dare?
Cousin 2 (thinking): If I take truth, she'll ask about that thing I don't wanna talk about... Better go with dare.
Dare.
Ishana (clapping her hands): Perfect! Your dare is... to kiss your wife on the lips. No excuses!
Cousin 2 (eyes wide): What?! Right here? In front of everyone?
Ishana (teasing): Come on, bro—it's just a kiss! You guys are married anyway. No big deal.
Cousin 2: No way. This is too awkward...
Abhi: You can drink instead. That's the rule.
Ishana: Nope! No drinking to skip dares today! You have to do it.
