Out of nowhere, I felt someone catch me: one moment I was falling, the next second I was held in a strangers embrace.
I opened my eyes wide in astonishment.
[How is this possible!?]
Scratch that, I was held in an acquaintance's embrace. I am not sure though if this person is that one in my mind given the stark difference in her appearance then and now.
She landed gracefully on the ground, staring at me with an unpredictable expression.
The two vague shadows on the other hand, fell into the magma lake. Although the noise they are making is very loud, my attention is preoccupied by the person who snatched my life from the God of Death.
"Boss, what are doing here?" Came a woman's voice which threw my mind into disarray.
She does bear a resemblance to that kid but it's too much if you tell me that this person is her.
She put me down and assisted me to stand. How can I stand properly without swaying when my leg is weak and I am shaking?
