Drayce greeted him with a light bow, as Grianor was the King here, and then began explaining how they ended up here.
"...As our mates were taken away, we are here to take them back," Drayce's calm and dignified voice reached everyone. "We have nothing against the Heaven Realm. If you free our mates and allow us to take them back, with the promise that no one from the Heaven Realm ever bothers us again, we assure you, none of us will bother you as well."
Isis mocked softly, "Are weak earthlings even capable enough to cause us any bother? Do not overestimate yourselves. Just listen to us and submit the hellfire already—then you are free."
Drayce, who had remained calm out of respect for the King, turned to look at Isis. His gaze was cold and his words sharp. "If we are that insignificant, you wouldn't be so restless and wouldn't have abducted my mate, Deity Isis. Your recklessness simply shows how big a threat you consider us and how scared you are."
