Ezekiel didn't wait around for Doom to contact him as he had way too many things on his plate. Sure Doom could be a possible threat, but the man's ego easily sabotaged himself most of the time. Plus Ezekiel was already stronger than Doom in physical strength, martial arts and the mystic arts. Not to mention he had his ninja and eye powers to fight Doom with if he needed to. Besides if Doom was stupid enough to be an enemy, it wouldn't be Doom against Ezekiel. It would be Doom versus everyone Ezekiel was working with.
With those thoughts in mind, a couple weeks passed as Ezekiel worked on other projects and focused back on his personal training. One of those projects was helping out Erik and T'Challa. He mostly acted as a taxi service so they could meet up, but it was progress. While T'Challa was on the fence about helping Erik out with ruining his father's image, he still wanted to have a relationship with Erik.
The two young men were very similar in some ways, they were both highly intelligent. Both of them were studying not only physics, but engineering as well. Which gave both of them a lot to talk about and they even bonded over physical training. While Erik didn't join the military in this life, he still understood what he could become and enrolled in the combat courses at the secret base. He was also gifted a body with chakra and trained in ninja arts. T'Challa on the other hand was basically trained since he was young to become the next Black Panther.
When T'Challa learned that Erik was also trained in martial arts, he asked to spar and after that, they would spar a couple times a week. Luckily T'Challa's home was large and had its own gym with enough room for them to practice.
During that same time period Tony finally contacted Ezekiel and actually apologized for the test flight. Ezekiel was surprised at first, but after he chatted with Pepper a couple days later he figured out it was because of her. Apparently she tore into Tony about being reckless and what would have happened if Ezekiel wasn't with him. Then she brought up what would have happened if he decided to take her for the test flight and not Ezekiel? For the final blow she asked what would happen to Morgan if they didn't make it back from the test flight?
That was more than enough to make Tony really take a step back and think about things. That was also why he didn't contact Ezekiel. Tony wasn't pissed off at Ezekiel, but was taking time to think about what could have happened…
Needless to say Tony came away with a slightly better mindset and was now thinking more carefully about projects he worked on. He also fixed the issues with the flying car and was in the process of rebuilding it with safety features in place. He was also slowly testing each thing before he installed it, which was a lot better than his old routine of making it and testing it on a trial run.
As for the main groups Ezekiel worked with, most were busy doing their own things. For the former 'mutants' like Xavier and Magento, they were both busy working on Genosha. While Xavier still had his school in upstate New York, he also helped out in Genosha and there was now another school building placed there.
Currently it isn't being used, but it was designed as a secondary school to be used during the winter. When the weather in New York cooled down the teachers and students who couldn't handle the cold would go there to study. It was also a fail safe in case something happened and the original school was targeted for some reason.
As for the spy group, the valkyries and the ninjas with new bodies. They were mostly focused on training and spying on Hydra. A few of the ninjas even started a deep cover operation to infiltrate Hydra by taking out certain targets and replacing them. It took a lot of work to replace a single person, since they needed to change fingerprint scans, retina scans, and tons of other things. Not including the target being replaced had to have their minds completely scanned and the information transferred to the replacement.
So far they've replaced over ten people in key positions which helped expand their information network. It also helped them learn of even more people they had no idea were part of Hydra. A few of which were influential religious leaders of different faiths. They were part of the religious faction inside of Hydra that they currently had very little information on. So the operation was already paying dividends.
While part of the spy group but in charge of supernatural threats, Blade's group was constantly putting in the most work out of everyone. While they were the smallest group by member count, they ended up having missions every week. When Ezekiel saw the reports he couldn't help but frown at how much supernatural activity there was in the world. Vampires, ghosts, werewolves, lesser demons, cults, rogue magic users doing blood sacrifices, and undead were just in the reports from the past few months.
Ezekiel made sure the teams weren't being run ragged from the workload, but afterwards he decided to increase the recruitment for that division. It would definitely take a bit of work to fill the request since people in that division needed a certain mindset to deal with what they faced. He could just fill in the empty spots with ninjas and valkyries, but Ezekiel didn't want to depend on them for everything.
The next group Ezekiel checked in with was the Hand. Their new mission direction was going pretty well and the cities they were based in were some of the safest in the world. After checking in with them and finding out how well their community programs were going. Ezekiel ordered them to expand to a few more cities and chose the three worst cities in the United States. He could have done more, but he didn't want to spread their current numbers too thin.
While Ezekiel didn't want to brainwash more members to the Hand, he wasn't against letting people join of their own free will. Of course they weren't joining a secret ninja organization, but the public outreach group the Hand was running. A few people were still inducted into the more secret side of things and trained properly. But those were people who passed the hidden evaluation tests that were in the outreach programs.
Ezekiel didn't see it as a bad thing, since the people that were recruited had certain personality traits. Traits that if not controlled properly could lead to issues in modern day society. So Ezekiel took people that could potentially become dangers to society and gave them a place to thrive. Most of the new recruits took to their new way of life without issues, but a few didn't like the rules imposed. They were given chances, but most of them ended up not making it past training because they had "accidents."
As for the last and newest group Valhalla that Ezekiel formed, they were expanding pretty quickly. With just over a thousand members and growing, the new PMC group was incredibly strong. With every single one of them being former military and fiercely loyal to the group. Technically the PMC group was an offshoot of the spy organization, but Ezekiel was using them out in the open.
At first he planned to hide everything about them and make the members disappear. But when pretty famous military people like Emil disappeared without a trace, people in the circles he used to work with asked questions. And Ezekiel really didn't want military personnel digging into anything, even if they might not find anything. But it was always better to be proactive, so after the first handful were trained by Cap, Peggy and Bucky. They were treated by Tao and Inoichi to protect their minds and make it where they can't reveal any information even under duress.
Each person was also tagged with a tracking spell and a tiny GPS tracker provided by Pym. They were things that everyone in the organization had as a fail safe incase they were kidnapped or captured. They could have gotten away with just one of the options, since both were extremely hard to detect. But Ezekiel was paranoid and wanted to do both, which no one really complained about.
With safety precautions out of the way, Ezekiel let the members reappear in public again and turned them into a PMC group anyone could hire. They had pretty high rates compared to other groups in the industry. But with Emil and other well respected people in command, it didn't take long for them to find work. In the short time since they started, the group already completed ten high profile contracts for different governments around the world. Which in turn made more people want to hire them.
On the scientific side of things, the project to help metahumans control their powers was progressing smoothly. With the impressive team Ezekiel built and the DNA samples they collected from Leech as their starting point. The research was going a lot better than Ezekiel thought it would and they were even planning to do tests with volunteers soon.
Sure Ezekiel and Tao could use the time stone to cheat and see what happens. But both Tao and Ezekiel were busy and it took a lot out of them for something that wasn't that important. If the tests failed the scientists would just continue working on the project.
As for the Mars project, that was slow going and would take years to complete. But so far the atmosphere with help from greenhouse gasses collected from Earth was headed in the right direction. As far as the water went, all of the ice asteroids were completely deposited on the planet and mostly melted. The polar caps and some of the higher elevation areas where ice was placed didn't warm up enough to melt them.
Some of the ice capped mountains were even in the area where Hashirama was building forests. So if you looked out from the edge of the forest you could now see them, which made an unbelievable sight. The lush green forest that opened up to the rusty red dirt of the planet that melted away into the vast distance before mountains capped in white blocked your view.
That wasn't the only incredible sight that Mars now had, no Mars was shaping up to be a beautiful masterpiece of natural wonder… If you didn't count the terraforming project going on. It wasn't like Ezekiel and the others planned everything to the last detail. They just figured out what needed to be done and started doing it to help the planet become habitable. Just like some of the beaches Mars now had from the oceans that covered half its surface.
Sure they might not have proper sand, trees, or other things that would make it a real beach. But that just added to their unique and alien beauty. Plus nothing could currently beat a Mars sunset by one of the oceans. Ezekiel knew that they would disappear once Mars's atmosphere reached near Earth in composition. So he was trying to see if it could be preserved some way through magic. If not, he already collected a lot of videos of the phenomena and could probably turn it into a nice VR experience one day.
As far as Theo's personal life, not much has changed in recent months. If anything it's been nice and relaxed with his clones going to school for him most days. He still went once a week or so, but he was mostly focused on personal training. One average Theo spent at least ten hours a day on training not including his liberal use of clones. If clones were factored in, Theo probably spent a few hundred hours a day training…
Theo should have dropped dead from the clone feedback and fatigue from training at some point. But his monstrous body just took the abuse and kept going like it wasn't an issue. That and he had Tao check with the time stone, as far as they could tell there would be no adverse effects from his non stop clone training.
