"I know." Elaenor Wood was not annoyed, even carrying a sense of serenity: "Everyone dies eventually. If I had to choose, I'd rather die by the hands of the sanctified leader."

Sometimes, potential enemies can turn out to be real friends.

But deep down, Julius Reed didn't really want to kill Elaenor Wood.
He wasn't someone who relished killing; he only killed those who deserved it.
