Turning around, they saw that the Rope people, who were previously just peeking, had haphazardly stopped behind them, completely encircling them!
One of the sailors finally cracked and, hysterically raising his firearm, began shooting at the Rope people in front of him.
Bullets hit the Rope people, knocking them to the ground, but given the sheer number of Rope people, a few bullets were completely ineffective. No one knew how many more Rope people there were in the forest.
"Stop! Did I give you permission to shoot?" Charles reached out and snatched the firearm from his hands.
"Charles, how about we use fire? Just burn them; ropes should be afraid of fire!" Audric started to strategize.
"Mr. Charles, what if I try to communicate with them? Maybe they're 'good' Monsters?"
