Tonight was bustling.
Having taken the North Port Bridge, the spirits of the Duchy Alliance Army were greatly boosted. Though the Castel Bridge and the main island of North Port still posed tough challenges, as far as the Alliance Army was concerned, Castel's retreat route had already been cut off, and the waterways on both sides were encircled; seizing this northern gem was only a matter of time.
A celebration, then, seemed only natural.
With the bridge taken, the main forces of the Alliance had successfully crossed the river and stationed themselves on the north shore of the Don River, completely severing the communication between North Port and the mainland.
The top echelons of the two duchies were even discussing the next plan to divide their forces and head north.
Of course, the attack would be a matter for the following day; after several consecutive days of besieging cities, the soldiers needed to rest and recuperate.
