[Chapter Size: 1800 Words.]
Third Person POV.
Kingsland.
...
...
"Su Grah Dun" was a shout that increased the speed of the weapons in his hands, as he felt the energy flow like the wind while he approached his first victim.
"AH?!" He screamed in fear before the two blades—ordinary ones, as Jon didn't want to attract too much attention—cut through him with a clean slash. The man exclaimed in pain, feeling the gap in his unplated armor being sliced open, blood spilling in that area. But Jon was so fast that not a single drop stained his blade.
Jon swiftly advanced toward the second victim, who couldn't even react before losing his arm. Moments later, his neck was severed.
"What is that?!" The soldiers farther away raised the question while those closest to the stranger—who was slaughtering them—screamed in terror as they were struck down one after another.
From the outside, people could only see that stranger killing and killing the city guards in a way no human should be able to move. They were being massacred so quickly that no one could even comprehend how that stranger was cutting through the group.
"Someone stop him!"
"Quick! We're under attack!"
"What is he?!"
The soldiers, in general, began to panic as the stranger moved his arms like a fierce wind, cutting his way through their ranks.
"What is happening down there?!"
Janos Slynt had just finished killing the baby when he noticed the chaos erupting on the lower floor of the brothel.
Looking over the balcony, he saw someone in the middle of the soldiers, leaving behind a trail of corpses as he made his way inside the brothel, getting closer to the entrance with each passing moment.
"Who is that?!" Janos Slynt asked, clearly shaken by the sight.
"He's coming in, sir..." The guard beside him also looked deeply unsettled as the stranger entered the building.
Both men quickly moved to the edge, bracing themselves for battle against that thing... completely ignoring the woman sobbing after her child had been murdered, as if her world had just ended.
Footsteps echoed as the hooded man appeared, moving swiftly down the corridor toward them. Some of the guards stared at him, their eyes dazed with fear. But the ones who felt the most terror were Janos Slynt and his companion. Somehow, it was obvious he was there for them, especially under the gaze hidden beneath his hood.
"So you are the ones who killed the baby... I won't let you have an easy life..." Jon said in a dangerous tone, not bothering to disguise his voice, since they wouldn't have long to remember it.
"I'm here under the Queen's orders! You have no idea who I am!" Janos Slynt shouted immediately, despite his fear. But he couldn't even see how the stranger simply moved his hand and hurled his sword at him. The next moment, he was sent backward, crashing to the ground, feeling something cold in his thigh before the pain hit.
He collapsed, dazed, feeling the sword embedded in his leg after tearing through all the muscle, tendons, and bone.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" His scream echoed through the brothel as the soldier beside him took a step back in fear, watching his lord on the ground, his leg impaled with a sword, while the stranger kept approaching them with a calm stride.
"You... you son of a bitch!!!" The man shouted at the stranger who had wounded him, tears streaming down his face as he started to sob, collapsing onto the floor, a massive pool of blood forming beneath him from the uncontrolled hemorrhage in his leg.
"..." Jon said nothing and threw the other sword in his hand at the other man, striking him right in the forehead, killing him instantly—merciful in a way. Then, Jon grabbed Janos Slynt by his clothes, ignoring the man's suffering, and began dragging him.
The other prostitutes, who had been cornered when they entered the room with Robert Baratheon's baby and the prostitute earlier, now watched the same man being dragged away, leaving a trail of blood while he cried and screamed like a child, desperately trying to stop the pain in his leg.
Jon carried him back to the room, where the woman was still screaming, holding her dead child in her blood-stained arms.
Jon touched her shoulder, and she flinched at his touch.
"Hey, I'm sorry for what happened. If I had arrived earlier, none of this would have happened..." Jon murmured, though the woman didn't even notice that Jon had used his Calm shout on her, just as he did with animals.
"But the murderer of your child is right here beside me. How about getting your revenge? Take this knife." Jon said, placing a dagger in front of her.
The woman, still in shock, looked from Jon to the knife in his hand and then to Janos Slynt, who lay on the ground, sobbing.
"Do you want to avenge your child? You can kill him." Jon asked again.
The woman stared at the scene for about ten seconds before her eyes returned to her baby—her precious baby, who had died at the hands of such cruel people...
She gently placed her child on the floor before stepping toward Jon's dagger and picking it up.
"I will kill him..." she said, her voice filled with pure hatred.
Janos Slynt, who had been crying so much that his eyes seemed close to drying out, suddenly felt the woman's presence approaching with the knife. She walked slowly, as if to engrave every detail of what she was about to do into her memory.
The commander of the City Watch swallowed hard when he saw the blade in her hand.
"Stop!" he exclaimed, his voice still trembling with sobs.
"Stop!" he repeated, trying to crawl away—a nearly impossible task with a sword still embedded in his thigh.
"Stop..." Janos Slynt pleaded one last time as the woman stood over him.
"Stop... AHHHHH!!!!" he screamed as she fell upon him, the knife plunging into his chest.
"You killed him!! My son!!"
"Ahhhhh!!!"
Janos Slynt shrieked as the stabs kept coming.
"Stop, please!!" he begged, but nothing could stop the woman. By the tenth stab, Janos Slynt had stopped crying, stopped pleading. His eyes stared blankly at the ceiling, his body trembling slightly as the woman continued to stab him, consumed by pure rage.
"He's already dead..." Jon remarked, watching the scene with indifferent eyes.
The woman finally stopped, her body covered in blood, her breath ragged.
"Anyway, I don't know if this makes you feel any better, but I hope I helped you. Now I have to deal with the rest of the soldiers..." Jon said as he stepped toward her and the blood-soaked corpse beneath her.
He raised his hand above Janos Slynt, and the man's soul began to be absorbed.
Jon stored the soul away without the woman even noticing and simply turned around, drawing more swords from his storage—after all, some soldiers had entered the place to see what had happened.
Once again, everyone watched the stranger in action as he began to massacre the soldiers in the corridor. Those who saw him didn't dare fight—they tried to flee, some rushing into the prostitutes' rooms, desperate to escape the slaughter.
Jon then left the same way he had entered, advancing through the crowd of guards he had left behind. The desperate screams of the soldiers echoed as they tried to flee, while the townspeople watched the surreal scene unfold. The last remaining men ran in terror, leaving behind a pile of corpses, making many question how such a thing was possible—or if he was even human after what they had witnessed.
Jon would deal with the remaining soldiers later. For now, he disappeared into an alley, vanishing like a ghost.
Quickly, the story of a lone man massacring dozens of soldiers began to spread. More and more people spoke of the impossible things they had seen him do.
Jon resumed his search for the person he had been looking for before coming here. Finally, he found him.
The man was trying to disguise himself when he suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned around, startled, to see the stranger staring at him.
"You are from the Night's Watch. Come with me," Jon said, still in disguise.
"Who are you? Why would I do that?" Yoren asked cautiously. He had heard what had happened to the Starks and had started acting carefully to avoid trouble, blending in as an ordinary citizen.
"I am with the Lord of Winterfell's youngest daughter. I need someone to take care of her. I'm sure you can do that," Jon said, making Yoren widen his eyes in surprise.
"Where is she?" Yoren finally asked.
"Come with me."
Jon led him to the location.
"You finally came back! Where were you?" Arya asked excitedly when she saw the Dragonborn. Jon had told her he had important things to do and would return soon, though he had spent most of the morning searching for Yoren.
"This is Yoren. He will take care of you from now on. I'm sure this place has enough supplies for you to stay here for almost a year," Jon said, then immediately turned around and disappeared.
"Hey, wait!!" Arya called after him.
"We won't see each other again anytime soon, so just take this."
Arya wanted to protest as she saw Jon approaching the window, but it was already too late. He was gone, jumping out and blending into the city's crowd.
Meanwhile, news of the strange warrior quickly spread everywhere as people wondered: Who was he? Where did he come from? Which gods had created him? How could someone be born so powerful...
Jon ignored it all. It was time to act against the city guards, who had become increasingly authoritarian with the people. Perhaps he could help and prevent more children from being slaughtered.
He knew that the commander of the guard had received orders from the queen to kill the baby and hunt down all the king's bastards. So he would act against them, plunging King's Landing deeper into chaos. He would begin attacking the city's high-ranking figures and the guards.
While the Night's Watch patrols continued making their rounds through the city, one of the groups suddenly encountered a creature unlike anything they had ever seen. It resembled the description of a god—white as snow, with red, fierce eyes—a complete wolf, yet standing on two legs, built like a man.
"What the—" The guard couldn't even react before he was impaled by the beast's claws.
The werewolf swiftly began tearing through the patrols, the guards screaming in terror as they died painful deaths.
From that night forward, Jon began hunting the city guards as a werewolf, plunging the city into even greater chaos. He was eager to see how the current king would react to it all.
