Bael stepped out of the portal and returned to his domain in the scorched and shifting expanse of the Hell Realm.
The air shimmered with perpetual heat and the sky above was a constant swirl of dark red clouds, occasionally cracked by the roars of unseen beasts.
The jagged towers of his fortress loomed over the land like teeth and rivers of molten stone flowed through the ground below.
Without wasting a moment, Bael strode through the obsidian halls of his stronghold with his forehead in deep frown until he reached his war chamber.
At his presence, the great iron doors creaked open and a group of Demons already stood waiting. This was his most trusted generals and advisors.
"Summon every soldier that can still be mustered," Bael commanded. "Even those deep in the fire pits training. We will need all of them."
One of his generals, a hulking Demon clad in dark armor, bowed his head. "As you command, my king. We will gather all units as soon as possible."
