Let's Go to The Hot Springs!

Jin Skyward's Soliloquy

I, along with everyone in my household were relaxing in my home, like any normal day. Though when I said that sentence to myself, it felt like I lied to myself since a lot of weird shit happens on my days off.
"All right you bastards, we're going to Izu! So pack your shit!" Azazel shouted at us. He just barged into my home and announced that with no prior warning.
"Um…what?" I asked, looking at the guy like he'd finally got insane.
"I was going to do this after those bastards attacked those pantheons but we didn't have time, but we have it now! So…! We're going on a few days trip to Izu! More specifically, we're going to its famous Hot Springs!" he shouted at us.
He then brought out some kind of brochure and handed it to Lavinia who made copies and then gave me one.
"We're going…on Friday, so a day from now and we're staying there until Tuesday! I've already informed Sirzechs and the others about this, and Sona already got all of you excuses, onwards my team of idiots!" he said and pointed…at the ceiling.
Everyone looked at me and I agreed. "Why not? We need some R&R every now and again, so let's go."
After that, everyone became excited. A few of the girls immediately left to go pack their things. However, Ravel, who was in our home too looked at the ground and sighed.
"…I always wanted to experience Japanese hot springs, now I get to," she mumbled to herself.
"They're good…" Shirone replied to her and they started discussing more about it. They even pulled out their smartphones and looked up information about hot springs in Izu.
"Apart from the hot springs, there are also the beaches there…we can go there, right?" asked Lavinia.
"I don't see why not? …Ah! You just want to show Jin your swimsuit!" Azazel initially shrugged her question off, but then came to that conclusion.
Lavinia's face…turned red, so she was thinking that—she was caught in a way. Although when I looked around, a few of the girls seemed to have experienced an epiphany or something.
"What do we wear at hot springs?!" Xenovia asked.
"Those loose yukatas or bathrobes, right?!" Irina shouted back at her friend.
Irina, aren't you Japanese? How do you not know these things? Though…you have been away from the country for a long time, and she did leave when she was young, so I can kind of understand why.
The girls then looked at their chests and then at Lavinia's who tilted her head. A few of them fell to the ground in despair. They do know that, while I do like big boobs, it's not the be it end all of things, right…?
"The fish in Izu is also delicious," added Shirone.
"Fish? Food? Nya?!" Kuroka appeared out of nowhere and attacked Shirone who started to squirm in her sister's grip. The others informed her of the upcoming trip and she became even more excited.
She still has a lot of money, so I won't need to worry about that, right?
"So, how are we getting there, Azazel?" I asked. "From the look on your face, I doubt it's by magic circle."
He grinned and rubbed his chin. "Fufufu! Correct! We're traveling by car! Well, I'll be driving one car and Rossweisse will be driving the other. You're fine with that, right?"
I don't know if I got my driver's license or not in my past life. However, I feel strangely confident about driving, but…it's better to have the ones that know how to drive do it.
"I don't mind. Doing things by the book can be relaxing, but we'll need to split our groups, huh? We'll need to use some magic to expand the interiors of each vehicle though, so…" I looked around and did a head count, counting the ones that weren't here either…
"It's going to be a lot of people…" muttered Lavinia beside me.
"Right, Jin, we used the funds you gave to Grigori for this trip, so…anyway, we'll do that. But you guys can split the groups. I'll just focus on the driving part. Just so you know, my car and anyone in it will have the best experience! Full speed! No stops! I also have boosters!" said Azazel excitedly.
A lot of people there reeled back in apprehension, while Xenovia and Irina looked excited by the prospect.
"Anyway! Get ready, I'll go get my ride ready too," he said and left my home.

A few hours passed, and it was now nighttime. After everyone was informed of what was happening tomorrow, we all got ready since many were excited about it. So far, everyone in my household, the Slash/Dog Team, and various other smaller groups or individuals were coming. Azazel and Penemue were the ones bringing us to the hot springs in Izu too.
However, I expect at least someone to go there too. But…
"Lavinia, Akeno, is this really necessary?" I asked.
Those two were in my room and added more things to my bag. We were essentially going to be gone for four to five days, so they wanted me to pack more than the same shirt but in different colors. I'm sorry, I'm not the type to fuss about that too much, especially during a trip…
"Yes. We took you out many times and also bought you clothes too. Aaron, I had the same issues back four years ago, you know? Natsume, Tobio, Shark (Kouki) and Shaae (Sae) helped me buy clothes and now I dress as diversely as I can," said Lavinia.
"That's right. Rias and I dress up a lot because of her status as a High-class devil you know? I've bought many dresses over the years, as well as other clothing. I've only increased them as we dated, fufu," added Akeno.
I sighed and agreed with them. "All right, but I'll leave it to you guys since I'm not the most fashionable person out there," I told them and they were happy with that.
[Kuku, I'm more fashionable than you.]
'Red/Crimson clothes all the time doesn't count,' I retorted.
[Ugh…]
'Neither is silver, white and blue, Albion.'
{W-why am I being targeted…?!}
'Like you're one to talk, Aaron. You're letting your women choose your clothing after all,' said Rudra.
Ugh… As I contemplated on helping the two in my room, the door to my room opened and…Suzaku came into the room.
"Oh, Suzaku, you came over today?" I asked. She nodded and looked at Akeno and Lavinia.
Both Akeno and Lavinia weren't just sorting my clothes, but they were also choosing theirs. Just like many other girls, various items of theirs started being left in my room, clothes included. As I mentioned, I don't have much in clothing and…items really, so most of my drawers and wardrobes are empty, except for a few things here and there.
So until the girls started bringing over their things, or outright leaving them here, this place was mostly barren.
"I was informed of the trip…so I managed to get time off for those few days. I came here to help with your clothes, but it seems—"
"Suzaku-onee-sama, you can still help~" said Akeno as she grabbed her arm and forced her to sit with them.
Suzaku sighed and softly pinched Akeno's cheek making her giggle, but she still helped them. I sighed and got up.
"All right, I'll help too," I declared and started helping them too. But…
"No, no, that doesn't go well together, Aaron!" Lavinia told me and snatched the two pieces of clothing I had.
"What about…"
"…Those two look horrible together, Aaron…" Suzaku said while also taking those from me too.
"Ufufufu, it seems like you only have an eye for formal wear, Aaron. Just leave the more casual ones to us. But when you wear your everyday clothes, they usually fit, but when you have to prepare for something…you seem to struggle," said Akeno.
I tilted my head sideways. "Do I? I never noticed, I just usually wear whatever's closest to me, or whatever I feel like…I don't usually take into consideration on what I wear…"
Akeno suddenly moved behind me, hugged me and then started nibbling on my ear. "Maybe…Toole-sama…has problems with that in…his previous life~?" she said in between nibbles.
"Dunno, maybe? Anyway, I'll just sit back again and let you guys choose…just don't make it super fancy."
"Make it super fancy? Okay~! You heard him everyone~" Akeno said and rejoined the other two after she clapped her hands. For some strange reason they joined it and I saw very questionable things going into my bag.
[Was that a clown costume? When the hell did you buy one?]
'How would I know?! I just let them run wild when they buy things for me!' I replied to the dragon. I was also confused by what I saw.
It felt like this trip was going to be more chaotic than relaxing. Hopefully I'm wrong in this…

"You got plans for the weekend, Jin?" Najima asked me.
We were two classes away from the end of the school day and everyone was just waiting for the teacher now. Both of them had been asking me if I was free for the weekend since I came into the damn school.
I sighed again. "You've been asking me all day; can I know why before I give you an answer?"
"No, you give us an answer since you'll give us an excuse!" said Kouta.
"Right, right—"
"I'm going to Izu with my harem, so I won't be free this weekend," I deadpanned and they just stared at me.
"Screw you!"
"Die normie!"
They both shouted at me and began to pout. I don't think having a harem is a 'normie' thing, but…all right, sure…
"So? Are you going to answer my question?" I asked again.
"We just wanted to hang out, man. Just the boys, you know? We're graduating this year, so we might as well make some memories, jeez…" complained Kouta. Najima nodded along with him.
I see, so that's why, huh? I mean we haven't hung out in a while, so I wouldn't mind…
"Well, let's do that next weekend then, how does that sound?"
"You better not back out, Skyward," said Najima.
"Yeah, you better not randomly disappear!" said Kouta.
"I won't, I won't," I replied and they were both fine with that.

School ended so as I was walking out of the school and I saw Sona was waiting by the gate. Once she saw me, she gestured for me to join her and so I did.
"I don't have much time you know?" I said to her.
"I know, but I want to know why the sudden absence. Azazel didn't tell me the details, he said it was an emergency," said Sona as we arrived at an isolated spot, away from the prying eyes and ears of students.
Wait what?! That asshole didn't tell her the real reason?! Did…did he know that this was going to happen and force this situation to occur? Did he tell Penemue, Lisa, Griselda and Rossweisse not to tell Sona and the others in advance? How the hell did he bribe them?!
I sighed and looked at her straight in the eyes, and without skipping a beat—
"Sona, I love you, please marry me."
"..."
She stared at me in confusion before she put a hand on her forehead and sighed.
"…It's not an emergency, is it? What did Azazel tell you this time?" she asked and looked back at me while sporting a small blush.
I chuckled and explained the situation and she sighed even more while covering her face with both hands. "Why can't he just tell me that instead of saying something like that…?" she asked no one in particular.
"It's fine…I can cover for all of you. You and everyone had done a number of things recently that saved various places…" she said and sighed again.
I smiled and put a hand on her head before lightly stroking it. As Sona was about to swipe it off her head—
"Presid—Ah! Jin-senapiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!" Saji's voice screamed. I turned around and saw him pointing at me with both Ruruko and Momo with him. They also looked surprised by this.
She finally took my hand off her head and walked over to them while fixing her glasses. "It's nothing scandalous. I merely inquired about the situation from Jin. I got my answer and he, like usual, tried to give me affection to which I rejected. Let's go back," she told them and they quickly agreed.
Sona usually doesn't give detailed explanations like that for small misunderstandings. It's typically just 'Jin is doing his usual thing,' or 'He's just being a bit troublesome', and leaves it at that. I guess she was flustered by the situation, huh?
[Partner, time.]
'Hmm? Oh, crap.' I looked at my watch before sprinting back home.

Once I arrived home, Lavinia was the one waiting outside with her own bags and mine. She saw me and waved me over.
"Sorry I was—"
She suddenly hugged me and said, "We already picked the groups, so…you don't need to worry about that."
I hugged her back and said, "Oh really? Well, I look forward to what they might be then…with that said, whose car are we going into…?"
"Azazel."
"I feared as much…Lavinia, a question…why did you pick his car instead of Rossweisse…?" I asked.
"Because I was slow~ everyone chose to go into Rose-chan's car, leaving the rest of us in Azazel's~" she replied.
I pulled away from the hug, confusing her. "For that slowness, no more hugs for you for the rest of the trip."
After I said that, Lavinia looked genuinely shocked and hurt. Her body started to shake and tears appeared in the corner of her eyes.
Shit, I think I took my joke a bit too far there. "I…I was joking, Nia…I didn't mean it, jeez…" I told her and hugged her back.
"…I don't like jokes like that…" she muttered and hugged me tighter.
"My bad…I won't make them again."
"Mmm…"
"Ah, jeez, why do you start flirting the second you come back?" Natsume asked as she came out with the rest. "Rossweisse and the rest already left you know? It's just us left."
Behind her were Suzaku, Xenovia, Kiba, Gasper, Kanami, Grayfia and Ophis. Everyone else was in Rose's car…just how much bigger was her car…?
"So we're the lost souls that are forced to ride in Azazel's car, huh?" I asked and Natsume nodded in resignation.
As we started to chat with one another, Azazel's car drove up to us. It was…a blue car. I had no idea what it was since I'm not interested in cars—I think it was the same in my previous life…but Azazel came out of his car with Penemue too, but…
"What in all living fuck are you wearing?" I asked.
Azazel was wearing a pink and purple Hawaiian shirt with brown shorts and sunglasses on his eyes. "Kuku, we're going to be driving by life~"
I don't…I don't understand what the hell he just said right now. Also, his car looked more like a sports car than anything.
"I already expanded the inside with magic. I also added extra seats beforehand so all of us can fit in it. Of course, I used your funds," he said proudly. "Why do you look like that, Jin?"
"You're already questionable in a lot of things, Azazel. I'm just curious how that translates to your driving skills," I replied.
He clicked his tongue at me and said, "I am the God of Driving! Nothing or no one will beat me at it! My driving skills are top-notch! Now shut up and get in!"
"Fufu, I look forward to it. I'll go to the front seat then," said Xenovia and climbed into the car.
Azazel stroked his chin proudly. "As expected of the [True] [Knight] of the Gremory peerage! Very well, follow me adrenaline junkie junior!" he then looked at me and said, "human safety means nothing to fallen angels!"
We're all going to die…are we even going to get to our destination in one piece…?

We were in his car, and it was quite spacious. The Minagawa sisters were at the very back playing and chatting with each other. Kiba and Gasper were a seat after them, the seat I was on was just before the front ones, so to my left was Suzaku, to my right was Lavinia, on my lap was Ophis and to Suzaku's left was Grayfia who glared at Azazel the entire time and on Lavinia's right was Penemue who didn't look bothered by anything.
There were more seats in my section, so the others could join us too (there were two extra). When I looked back, Gasper had already strapped himself to his seat belt. His face looked pale and he was sweating a lot. I guess I wasn't the only one worried about Azazel's driving skills.
By all accounts, none of us would be injured if we do crash, but that's beside the point. Driving to a destination like Izu should be calming, enjoyable, not life-threatening. With Azazel as our driver…God knows what will happen.
"All right, the car navigation is one, it's custom built by the fallen angels too," he told us. He started pressing a bunch of buttons and then—
[Satellite Downfall Cannon System activated. Allied troops must evacuate from a 1 km radius—] said a feminine robotic voice.
Before any one of us could react, Grayfia grabbed the back of Azazel's seat and the guy flinched.
"I-it was the wrong button! Calm down!" Azazel shouted in a panic and cancelled it. Why do I have a feeling that he also used the funds I donated for that stupid shit…?
"Did I hear that right? Cannon? Evacuate? I also heard something pop out of the bonnet, you know?! Governor, what was that?! Care to explain?!" Kanami asked and started pointing at the roof of the vehicle.
Azazel sighed and said, "You guys are freaking out way too much. Look, this car has a lot of functions, all right? Just trust me and the process, we'll be there before those guys! And they left before us too, so shut up and wait!" Azazel then pressed another button.
[Please choose your target. Preparing the launch of the Dragon Destroying Missile immediately.]
The bonnet above us reopened and a mini-missile appeared…
"Oh, this is the Dragon-Slayer missile that I made just in case the future Red Dragon Emperor ever got into their [Juggernaut Drive]. It was before we met, Jin. My bad," he said and turned it off.
Xenovia nodded and added, "I would like to see that…"
What the fuck? What do you mean? I shook my head and spoke to Xenovia telepathically. 'For that comment, I won't have sex with you in the future.'
Xenovia immediately turned around, face paler than anything. "Wait, no, I take it back!" she shouted.
Everyone there just stared at her in confusion.
"Anyway!" Azazel shouted and flicked a switch and a few noises were heard from the car. "We'll go on a leisurely trip! Power Boost, switch on!" he then pushed another button—
Seconds later, we were launched away from the street like a rocket. The car shook violently, and everyone held onto something so they wouldn't fly off or be thrown around the vehicle.
"Gyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!" Gasper screamed and somehow ended up on my lap and clung onto my neck. Suddenly, the rest joined, including Kiba. His face was beside mine as he had wrapped his arms around my neck.
"Get off me…" I muttered calmly.
However, he said no and stuck his tongue out at me. Lavinia and Suzaku were strangely calm about this, although they were hugging my arm now. Grayfia's glare on Azazel became more intense and I could feel her increasing her demonic energy. The Minagawa sisters were screaming their lungs out and Ophis, like usual, ignored the whole event and ate from the bag of sweets I gave her. And of course, Penemue was calm during the entire thing—ah, no she passed out…her mouth was open and she was drooling…
[Fufu, that's why I chose to stay in your necklace for the time being,] said Irene from the necklace. She was also coming with us, apparently.
"I don't want to die a virgin!" shouted Kanami.
"I'm not one though!" shouted Natsume. She was then pushed away by Kanami and she dove into my lap further annoying Grayfia.
Our trip, which had just begun, was already chaotic. I had low hopes for the future…

Two hours and thirty minutes after we left the Skyward residence. Both Natsume and Kanami were back to normal and playing cards at the back, Lavinia and Suzaku had fallen asleep, Ophis was also asleep on my lap, Grayfia had calmed down (slightly) and Gasper was passed out with Kiba giving him a lap pillow and looking after him.
Xenovia enjoyed the entire fiasco as she was in her own small world. It seemed as though Azazel was not bothered by the whole thing and Penemue woke up. She looked pale earlier so I helped her a bit and now she was calm, although she was furious at Azazel too.
I feel like that man was making the older women here his enemy by being casually idiotic…
"Look guys, we can see the sea now," Azazel said and pointed to our right.
He was clearly excited by it, but…no one answered him with the same enthusiasm. Some gave curt noises to indicate they acknowledged his existence.
"…Irene…boobs…too big…ugh…" Ophis muttered in her sleep. What in God's name was she dreaming about…?
Xenovia suddenly opened the window beside her and we were hit by the smell of the sea. This caused the ones that were asleep to wake up. But also—
"Fish nyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
We heard Kuroka screaming from the other vehicle. The fact that she screamed so loudly and that we heard her was impressive…
"You guys have such low tension, be like Xenovia and Kuroka. We're on a trip, in Izu, by the sea and we're about to go into some hot springs! Come on!" complained Azazel.
"If you didn't drive like a crackhead the entire time, I would be, and so would the rest, but seeing as how you didn't, you're asking for too much," I replied.
Another hour passed and the place we were heading to was in the mountains, so the beach trip would be on the last day of our time here. That's what we agreed upon before coming here. All around us was a landscape of mountains and dense trees. It's like we were stepping into another era of Japan when we visited this place.
Eventually, the place became visible and it was mostly made out of wooden logs. But it wasn't that old. It looked rather new, actually. By my estimation, it's only been around for seven or eight years.
Unlike Azazel's promise, Rose, and everyone else had already arrived there, so we didn't get there first even with his psychotic driving and boosters…
Finally, we reached it, parked and got out. Gasper was still unconscious, so Kiba carried him.
"This is an excellent inn. Tonight will be a wonderful night," Rias said while looking at me and blushing. No…there were several others who looked at me like that. I guess my night will be filled with a lot of shouting…
"Hot springs…wait, what about the schedule?" Akeno looked dreamily a few seconds ago, but then reality hit her. Everyone turned to look at her, then me and then Grayfia.
"We will continue with it," declared the maid. She looked quite smug about it too since she had her turn tonight…
We didn't need to unpack our bags since we already had them in our rings, so we walked into the inn. Once inside the place it looked quite normal, well, except for the one who owns the place…
"Welcome back, Governor. Ihehehehe~," said an old woman. She had a wrinkled face, wore a pink kimono and had gray hair tied in a bun. I could tell that she was a youkai.
"Oh! Landlady! I'll be in your care again; we did rent the whole place for the next few days" replied Azazel.
"Ihehe, thank you for coming all the way into the mountains of Izu. This is a secret place that's popular with the Devils and Fallen Angels. I transformed myself into a mountain girl since I heard it was a popular trend lately," replied the old youkai.
I see, so this was a secret hot spring, huh? I was hoping that we'd be at a normal one in Izu, but I guess this works too.
"You guys felt it earlier, right? We passed through some barriers that led to this place. It's exclusive to the supernatural, and it's popular," said Azazel.
I did feel something strange earlier, but with how mentally exhausted I was because of his shenanigans I just mostly ignored it.
"Thank you, ma'am, we'll be under your care," Rias said and bowed. She looked to her side and then froze. I, along with many others followed her gaze and found…two people there.
"Fufu, it's been a while, Rias, everyone," said a woman.
"Ara, it's just as planned~," said another woman. The two women that appeared were Asteri and Venelana.
"Asteri and Venelana, huh? What brings you two here?" I asked.
Asteri smiled, summoned a paper fan and pointed it at us. "I heard through Grayfia that all of you were coming here, so I took the liberty of taking a day off. Venelana-sama here also heard and wanted to see her daughter again, so she accompanied me," she explained.
Asteri walked over to a tense and slightly shaky Rias. Even Akeno looked like she had given up. Asteri looked at Rias, then to Akeno and then to everyone else.
"I will not allow any of you to have such a carefree and controversial trip! From today and until the day before you leave, I will show you how to become excellent wives!" she declared.
"So…in other words, we'll only have the last day for ourselves…?" Asia asked.
"Indeed," Asteri replied with a mischievous smile. "Now come, young ones!" she said and walked away followed by all the women…except Lavinia. She decided to ignore everything but…
"That also includes you, Lavinia Reni—Ice Princess-san," said Venelana before she dragged Lavinia away.
"Noooooo! Jin! Heeeeelp~!" shouted Lavinia. However, I didn't do anything and simply watched her go. She then began sobbing.
I'm sorry, please forgive me! I think it's fine, right…? Wait, hold the hell up, why are Gasper and Kiba going with them?! As I stepped forward, I felt a hand on my shoulder and it was…Azazel.
"Let them be, we'll just assign their rooms for them. They'll be working late into the night," he told me.
"You knew about this, didn't you?" I asked and eyed him suspiciously.
"I did, you can—" Before he finished his sentence, I punched him in the gut and he fell over.
"Ma'am, may I have our keys?" I asked and walked over to the old youkai lady. She seemed to know who I was and agreed to even guide me around. I was very thankful.
"That reminds me…I need to lecture you about many things, Azazel. Let's start with the misuse of Jin's money and your driving," said Grayfia. She grabbed Azazel by the neck collar before dragging him away.

After I was shown around the place, I was left to my own devices. However, I wasn't left alone for too long since Irene left my necklace and stood in front of me. We were in my room, which I was supposed to share with Kiba and Gasper. However, I doubt that'll happen, so those two will probably move to a new one.
"Oh, you decided to come out…did you stay quiet to avoid going? Even Ophis went you know?" I said to her and she awkwardly looked away.
Even the Dragon of Dragons didn't want to go through that we're training came for wives, huh? Although Griselda looked very excited about the prospect earlier. She sat down beside me and we looked around the room.
"Tatami mats, futons, a TV, a small fridge and a large wardrobe. It's a fine room, although you'll be sharing it with various other females, correct?" she asked.
"Pretty much, but I'm almost certain that they'll want to be spoiled even more than usual because of what they're going throu—" We suddenly heard a thud on the door and…it violently slid open.
"Jin! Jin! Jin~~~!" Lavinia barged through and began crawling toward Irene and I. Akeno was also attached to her and once they arrived by me, they clung to me—snot and tears covered their faces.
I was dumbfounded by this and I summoned a handkerchief and started cleaning their faces for them. Behind them…came Venelana who was shaking her head.
"For two of the most vocal of your harem—the ones who want to marry you first, they don't have the will power to get through our training session. Lavinia Reni-san, Akeno, you must come back with me," said Venelana.
"Wait! Please! I want some Jin energy first. Let me stock up on some!" Lavinia begged and Akeno nodded along with her. Venelana was clearly confused by this, but agreed to let them 'refuel', so…they just cuddled up to me and started demanding to be spoiled.
"…This is the 'energy', they want? And also…how about you? I haven't seen you before…" said Venelana as she stared at Irene.
Irene stood up and declared, "I am the Dragon of Dreams and Illusions, a True Dragon, the Dragon of Dragon—"
"Ah, so you're another one of Jin's lovers, correct? Then you need to come with me so you can join in our training session," said Venelana.
She was not bothered by Irene's long-winded introduction, instead she grabbed her wrist and began dragging her away. Irene panicked and looked back at me looking for help. I smiled at her and gave her a thumbs up—her face then became pale as they left the room.
"Spoil me…~," said Akeno.
"Love me…~," said Lavinia.
I looked at them and sighed. "Was it that torturous?" I asked.
"Yes," both of them said at the same time. I really doubt Asteri would put them through something actually torturous, so these two probably just wanted to relax on this trip…

"Ara? Are you saying I'm no longer young, Jin-kun?" Venelana asked and turned to me.

"…I want to get some beer…" mumbled Azazel, as he himself was already in his dark-blue night gown yukata. Everyone else also wore that in varying degrees of color, although most wore the blue/dark-blue variant.
Azazel finally got up and left while yawning to himself. I guess he's going to get drunk by himself tonight. He should have invited some drinking buddies if he wanted to come, unless he plans on staying in the town to mingle with single ladies down there.
I myself was sitting away from everyone while sipping on some apple + strawberry + lemon juice. Most of their reactions were of disgust, I myself like it, so I wasn't bothered by it.
And with that, our first night here was…quite calm, actually.

Later on the night, it was slowly drawing to a close, and I went to take a bath by myself. They had large indoor baths here, so I was going to the mixed bath too since it was the closest and there were only a few people there, so it was fine.

"Hmm. He indeed did, very well, Jin. Please join us," said Asteri. Penemue popped up from behind them along with Irene who waved at me. "But yes, I do agree, you must properly wash yourself before coming here."
She—no, they didn't wait for my response and they forced me to sit back down on the wooden stool again. No…wait…I could smell…alcohol? Were they drunk? I glanced at Asteri who had moved behind me and started scrubbing my back with a towel.

"That's no good, Jin-kun! You have to properly wash yourself on a regular basis every day. Otherwise, your body won't be squeaky clean," said Venelana. I'm 99% sure that the ability I use keeps me 100% clean, but I won't correct them on that.

"Are you sure you guys don't want to join them?" I asked the two Gremory ladies.
"We're fine, Jin-kun. We're a bit too long to go frolicking in the water," said Venelana. Asteri agreed with her while watching everyone silently.
"You're both still young, no need to be modest about it," I told them.
"Are you trying to hit on these two devil ladies, Jin? Pretty ballsy of you," said Azazel. I looked at him and he came back with various snacks and drinks. He handed me the change for the purchase and I put it away.
"No…" I muttered and left the area. Both of them giggled at me as I did.
I looked around trying to find a group to join, but they found me instead. In front of me were Lavinia and Suzaku in their respective bikinis. Lavinia's was dark blue with white flower patterns, while Suzaku's was mostly red with black bird patterns. Both looked quite shy while wearing them.
"You two look good," I told them and looked over their bikinis and figures one more time. "Really good…"
"What about me~?" Akeno said as her head appeared from behind Suzaku. She then stepped out from behind her and my eyes nearly popped out of my head. She was wearing a string piece and it was barely covering anything!
I quickly summoned a green towel and covered her. "It's amazing, but fuck me it's really revealing, Akeno. There isn't much to…cover, you know…?"
Her reaction to my action was strange. She looked quite ecstatic and giggled to herself. She then looked at Suzaku and said, "It worked~" and the two cousins high-fived each other.

"She's going to kill me with that kind of teasing," I said. I liked seeing them in any kind of clothing or cosplay, but wearing something like that in public was a bit too much for me. Was I overstepping or was I just worried? I'd like to think it was the latter.
Suzaku smiled and said, "Well, it's her own payback for what she saw a few days ago."
Payback, huh? I guess Akeno did look quite jealous, although that's how most of them were when they walked into that scene in the bath.
"It's fine…I think?" turning my gaze to where Akeno ran off to, she immediately came back with a much normal-looking bikini that was emerald green in color.
"All right, let's go…and spend some—" As I was about to suggest joining the rest, I felt something off and looked into the sea. I raised my hand up and created a barrier around us. When I did that, everyone became alert and looked in the direction of the spike in magic.
"Now what?" Azazel asked as he, Venelana and Asteri joined us.
"I don't know, but…it seems like some kind of sea monster," I replied. Akeno's mood dropped as lightning crackled around her arms. The same happened with Suzaku, Lavinia and the other girls. I guess they really wanted this trip to be free of fighting.
Suddenly a giant kraken-like monster erupted from the water. From my quick scan of it, the monster was around Ultimate-class. Normally it would be powerful, but in front of these guys…

The creature didn't get to finish his sentence. A variety of attacks were thrown at him and they all hit him at the same time creating a powerful explosion that made the entire area shake. When I looked to my side, Azazel's face was pale.
"Remind me not to get in your harem's way when you guys are relaxing or on a vacation," Azazel said while backing away from the still furious women.
Once the large smoke screen faded, the kraken-like monster was no more. Their collective anger made it disappear from our universe. Rest in peace, Kraken-san…

These events are what led up to a certain situation in the distant future, however, these events were their humble beginnings.
In Aaron Toole's [Pocket Dimension], Lavinia, Aaron and a newly reborn 'Shin', a new [Canis Lykaon] of this universe stood a few feet from his home.
"I know, I said I would need to train with Shin, but…where do I even start?" Aaron asked himself. In the distance, hundreds of monsters began to spawn and Lavinia kept them in place using her ice and blizzard.
"Why not start with commanding Shin?" she suggested while looking at the small jet-black puppy. "Are you aware that…"
"Lycaon's consciousness resides in Shin? Yeah, I am. I'm going to speak to him sooner or later…jeez, that's even more people in my head. Ddraig, Albion, Cúntóir, Rudra, Elsha, Amaris, Garrett, Belzard and now potentially Lycaon," said Aaron while shaking his head.
In the past, the God of the Bible created [Canis Lykaon] by using two separate sources, which was an extremely rare case. First was the King of Arcadia, Lycaon who accumulated evil deeds toward the Chief God of the Greek Pantheon Zeus, invoking his fury resulting in him being turned into a werewolf.
Second, being the Ame-no-Ohabari, the strongest sword among the Totsuka-no-Tsurugi, in which attained divinity and was later used to kill Hinokagutsuchi. Once both were sealed in [Canis Lykaon], the curse of Lycaon caused Ame-no-Ohabari to lose its divinity and transform into a cursed blade, which caused a distortion that turned it into a Longinus.
Lycaon's consciousness was active inside of [Canis Lykaon] (both for Aaron and Tobio), which drove the blade to cut everything without discretion whether it was friend or foe, which was referred to as the [Imitation God].
Aaron sighed and looked at the monster. "Well, let's get started then, Shin. Go!"
Aaron pointed at the monsters with his right hand. Shin immediately grew a short crimson blade on his forehead and dashed towards the monsters with remarkable speed. He blitzed around the monsters that were still immobile thanks to Lavinia's ice. Shin easily cut through the monsters, killing them instantly.
"Did you modify him in any way? As in, did you evolve or upgrade him?" Lavinia asked Aaron. Shin was already finished with his work and he happily trotted back to the duo.
"When I created him, yes. Shin has already been upgraded and has already been evolved. But I was surprised when not much changed about him. I know I can use several abilities while he's like this, or in his adult form, or during the original subspecies Balance Breaker," replied Aaron.
Aaron stretched his right arm out to the side and produced a jet-black scythe from darkness. He spun it around his hand and pointed it at the new monsters that appeared. He nodded to himself and looked at Lavinia who stopped her abilities. Aaron and Shin ran towards the monsters and dodged their attacks while doing minimal movement and slicing them apart.
Aaron found it strange wielding a scythe, but he still kept at it as he wanted to master the use of all types of weapons. Eventually, they slaughtered the new batch of monsters again. He then dismissed his weapon and looked at Shin before the adorable puppy happily barked at him, jumped towards him and changed itself into a blade that resembled a distorted black katana.
He then ran towards even more new monsters that appeared. One aimed their tentacle at Aaron's head to which he dodged it with minimal movement while also repelling it with the distorted katana. Another fired a barrage of dark stingers at him, so Aaron jumped into the shadows beneath him and avoided the attack.
Once he was in there, he spread the darkness around the dimension, turning it into the void. The monsters around him looked around wryly, cautious about what had just happened. However, like an invisible force, Aaron left the shadows and took down a monster, while also diving back down into it and appearing at another spot and doing the same take-down sequence.
Slowly, he killed the remaining monsters and turned the dimension back to normal. He walked back to Lavinia, who was patiently waiting for him. Shin turned back to his normal form and sat on Aaron's shoulder while licking his cheek.
"You know, you can get some extra training in. Shin and I will be in this place for twenty years in total. You mentioned only joining us for the first five, right?" he asked.
"I wish to change that now…but I promised the others that I would help them with something. How vexing," replied Lavinia with a cute pout.
Aaron reached out and stroked her head. "We can enjoy our five years here together then," he told her.
Lavinia smiled before taking his hand into hers. "Hehe, I have you for myself for five straight years…I don't have to worry about any competition," she said and winked at him.
Aaron smiled wearily at that and turned back to the monsters. "How about we join up again in two hours?" he asked and Lavinia happily agreed to those conditions.

One hour and forty-five minutes into their session, Aaron decided to enter both his Balance Breakers, but in an unconventional way. He stared down at a large beast with a unique trait. The beast in front of him was humanoid in nature, and also could harden its skin to a degree that it can even take in attacks done by God to Dragon-god class beings.
The beast resembled Tannin, the former Dragon King, slightly. It looked like him, but its skin was dark purple and it didn't have dragon wings, instead it had tentacles that wriggled on its back and shaped themselves into wings.
"Shin, let's do that," said Aaron and they jumped backwards, avoiding the beast's attacks. Shin had transformed into his adult form over the last few hours and he and Aaron had been slaughtering as many monsters as they could.
Lavinia had done the same with her Sacred Gear and they were going to meet up soon, so he wanted to end this day with his Balance Breaker. Aaron then quickly recited a powerful spell.

Aaron Toole and the black dog were enshrouded in a jet-black haze. It then spread, covering everything in the surrounding area.

Their limbs gradually dissolved into the darkness and turned into something with an abnormal shape.

Aaron's entire body was enveloped in darkness.

Although his figure retained some human resemblance, it had become something that differed from a human. It was now a black humanoid beast.

Simultaneously after Aaron recited the last stanza of his chant, his black dog—Shin howled loudly.

What appeared there was a humanoid imitation of the God of the Blade that was covered in darkness. After reciting the spell, Aaron's form changed into something that looked like a humanoid dog. He also had six tails growing on his back, and his whole body was emitting the aura of darkness. Next to him was the 'Dog', a blade emitting darkness from its jaw.
Aaron and Shin sped towards the beast and slashed at it with his scythe and Shin's blade. They quickly dispatched it, but to their surprise the beast regenerated and became even bigger.
'Did it evolve…? No, it adapted, huh? That certainly an interesting thing to spawn here,' thought Aaron. 'I can play with him for a bit then…Lavinia should be finishing up soon.'
He glanced at Shin who agreed with him and they disappeared into the darkness below them. Just like earlier, they started appearing at various places that contained any amount of darkness or shadows and they attacked the beast together. Each time they killed it, the beast would regenerate and grow even more resilient to their attacks.
However, each of Aaron and Shin's attacks had different properties and wave length auras that changed depending on how they attacked the beast, so it was forced to adapt to that, but they would then use an entirely different wavelength, forcing the cycle to repeat.
Once they had done this dance for around twenty-two times, Aaron and Shin backed off and the beast looked furious with them.
"Done yet?" Lavinia asked as she arrived with the giant ice dragon, Kyu-chan.

Darkness started to appear in the immediate area around Aaron and Shin. It then spread, covering even more of the area around them, reaching the valley below his home, and various zones too.

The ground and the sky of the [Pocket Dimension] he created—everything was engulfed in darkness that not a single ray of light could reach.

Black beasts that looked like Shin appeared near Aaron and Shin. They kept appearing one after another, increasing in number until they were the size of a large group. Plus, the countless number of dark Shin that emerged from the ground were also engulfed in darkness.
Among the group's members, Aaron with his scythe and Shin with his sword heightened their auras. Normally this form was meant to be acquired through the polishing of his Balance Breaker, [Night Celestial Slash Dogs], which resulted in the achievement of the Abyss Side. In other words, the Balance Breaker Abyss-side—[Perfectus Tenebrae Lykaon et Fortis Densus Laelaps].
Aaron had read this before and it seemed that after he evolved and upgraded his version of [Canis Lykaon] certain abilities and possibilities became available for him to use. So he tried it and it worked, although he felt something off when he was in this form, but he put that to the side for now and looked back at the beast in front of him.

Night and after some alone time with Lavinia, everything had become quiet. She lay beside me, naked and asleep. I guess I should confront him? I don't know how far I can go though, but it's worth a shot. Shin, who had turned back to his puppy form also slept at the end of our bed. So I lay down and closed my eyes.
Before I lost fell asleep, I remembered what Lavinia told Tobio four years ago, before they all became an official team, something about…Independent Avatar-types.
'—With the Independent Avatar-types, even if you try to investigate the power sleeping within it. Perhaps, as soon as you reach the 'truth' of this power, there is a possibility of being consumed by that power. Your 'other' self is part of yourself, another version of you. If you show any kind of opening at any point, that other version of yourself will change places with you.'
Apart from being scared of 'dolls', she also had a fear of being consumed by her own Sacred Gear…

When I turned around, in this jet-black void, where there was no kind of light, I saw a pair of glowing red eyes.
"So you're Lycaon, huh?" I asked. He then chuckled.

I looked at her and imagined her with silver hair, it looked a bit strange, but paired with her sapphire blue eyes—no, she'd look beautiful even if she had both her hair and eyes turn silver, that was my honest thoughts. Maybe I was just biased because I was in-love with her?
I reached out, and took some of her hair into my left hand, then I looked at her from head-to-toe. "…I think you'd look stunning regardless, Nia. But…if I had to choose, you having blonde hair and blue eyes suits you more—but like I said, you having silver hair wouldn't be an issue either."
She seemed to think about something for a few seconds before smiling again. "Then…what about our children?"
"Our…kids? Well…" I looked at my own hair. It was mostly black, but the tips were silver, and my eyes were also both silver now. I would probably have silver hair and eyes in the future, right?
"I think they'll either have blonde or silver hair, as for their eyes? Silver or blue…unless…"

All I did during that time was train, but Lavinia and I did grow closer in those five years too—she told me about things she looked forward to, especially parenthood.
