Lilieth sighed heavily. It was not the mind of response she wanted to hear, but she had been expecting something like this.
"Alright, I understand. This still works out in our favor since it mean you will step in if things get dangerous. And if you don't then that just mean that we are capable of handling the situation on our own."
Whichever the case ended up being, Rune would still be fighting as a part of her forces. He would be on the front lines so it wasn't as if the Arachne was as detached from the situation as she made it sound.
"Um, Miriam. Do you you think you could treat the Queen a little more respectfully. You are making things kind of difficult here..." Rune asked with a nervous smile.
