When Rune and the girls returned to the palace, a servant was waiting there to greet them.
"The Lamia Queem invites you to take part in the second trial," he said. "All preparations are complete. If you are ready you can follow me."
Rune nodded.
"Alright."
He followed after the servant boy and traversed the winding halls of the palace. After some time, they eventually passed through a large set of double doors. They were the same kind of heavy doors that were connected to the Queen's bed chamber. Only, these ones were already open. There would be no test of strength for him this time.
Rune stopped in place upon entering, shocked at what he was seeing. He had an idea of what the next trail was going to be like, but he hadn't expected it to be to this extent.
