"Magic! Real Life Magic!! A Fire ability, it feels so surreal! I have to admit I was a bit skeptical when Obby mentioned that-somehow I had some sort of magic output before but holy cow, it turned out he was right." Zyle spoke to himself internally. After all, As far back as he can remember, he himself and his late father from Earth were the only friends he ever had. He's aware that he led a sad existence in the past and he promised himself that he would put himself out there and make some new friends ... that is .. if he ever finds anyone that is. Raising his palm toward his face, Zyle said " I should really figure out how to use this ability." He then stretched both his hands outward and shouted "Fire Go!" Nothing happened, it was so silent that literal crickets could be heard.
"Okay....." said Zyle disappointedly, But he didn't give up, he was determined to figure it out. He starts off attempting to materialize the fire in his palms by trying different poses and saying different phrases. Phrases he mostly heard and read from in comic books and video games. He stretched his left arm and yelled out "Fire shot! Fireball! Heat On! Flamethrower! flame On! Once again, nothing happened- He switched arms, using his right hand this time, and he hollered " Flame on! Fire!! Ignite! Ignition! Explosion!!", again there was no reaction. Frustrated he quickly checked the ability tab in his system.
At the very top of the page were the words {Fire Abiltiy} in big bold letters. Beneath was a bunch of empty spaces with no visible skills but at the very bottom however was a different story. There was a Secondary category called Ultimate abilities. In this category the were about 10 different icons and beside them were the names of unknown skills. Unfortunately, those icons were grayed out and their names were dim to the point of being illegible. The thought of unlocking those skills excites Zyle until he remembers he still couldn't find anything useful about how to use his new ability.
"Well, I tried, perhaps I need to find a mentor or a teacher of some sort," said Zyle dejected under his breath. Zyle closed his eyes in disappointment and suddenly realized it was pitch black behind his eyelids. As soon as he thought about the system the window popped up again and then he thought about it closing and it also did so. This was something new. In the recent past, the only time he remembers seeing pitch black when he closed his eyes was when he was going to sleep, the system screen would automatically close to not disturb. This time it was different, Zyle was awake but that was not the only difference. In his gut, Zyle can feel a slight burning sensation. Surely it couldn't be Acid reflux from the Poison snake he ate earlier, could it? No, the sensation wasn't painful, it didn't feel unpleasant either. With his eyes closed, Zyle could sense and practically see a flaming floating orb within him. He noticed he had the ability to move it around.
When the flaming orb is moved, he can feel a slight burn in that specific localized area. He started experimenting with it. Through his experiments, He found out that the orb was like a lump of clay - it can be molded any which way. It also can be stretched like rubber and even the flame engulfing it can but moved but it constantly produces flames. Zyle continued practicing moving the flame throughout his body with ease. At one point, he moved the flame toward his left hand simultaneously raising it closer to his torso in real time. the slight burning sensation got stronger on the surface of his palm. Upon opening his eyes, Zyle mouth gapped open at what he was witnessing. A brilliant fire blazes up from his palm like a campfire.
"Great! I did it! But....I should really get a move on toward those villages Obby mentioned. I really hope to come across other people and preferably friendly ones at that. it feels like it's been forever seen I've met anyone. Who knows maybe I'll get to sell something! maybe ill be able to get a decent meal for once instead of this unseasoned meat I've been eating since I got here." said Zyle in a few breaths excitedly to himself. Zyle often finds himself talking to himself, perhaps he was crazy or maybe he was just a bit of an oddball. Then again he did have Obby in his head as well who was always listening so taking that into consideration, made him seem less of a weirdo. After extinguishing the fire from his hand, Zyle gathered his things. This included putting all the magical beast Cores into his backpack before throwing it over his shoulder. He closed the gate to his encampment as he walked off. After several steps he glanced back at the camp and said " Until next time," he smiled and quickened his pace moving east. While on his journey, he practiced his ability as he walked. he was soon able to control the fire without closing his eyes at all. He can set both hands on fire and anywhere else he chooses to engulf in flames. At this point, Zyle had walked 75 miles through the forest and it was now dark, as the night moon shone rays of light through the forest. He stopped to rest and collected a bundle of twigs and wood. He spread the twigs around him to act as an alarm of sorts in case something or someone approached while he was resting. Surprisingly walking through the forest so far, he hadn't come across a single beast or magical beast but this was just a precaution. He then piled up the chopped wood against each other and started a fire which was much easier than before. After all, he was now some sort of a human torch with his new fire ability, which came in handy for tasks just like this one. Zyle laid his back against the base of a tree near the campfire and rested his weary eyes. Several hours had passed.....wAhhhhhh !! wailing scream was heard startling Zyle awake. "What was that?!" said Zyle practically jumping to his feet. Again he heard the sound clearly: AHHHHHH help AHHHH!
"Someone is in trouble, by the sound of it - it's a woman, what would she be doing out here this late and in the dark no less? this forest is too dangerous, I hope I make it in time," said Zyle as he sprinted toward the direction in which he last heard the voice. As he charged through the forest with his left hand lit up like a torch, he could see clearly through the forest. With his trusty sword in his other hand, he was ready for any surprise attack from his flanks. Suddenly, he came to a halt in a small open area. The area was surrounded by thick trees with thick branches producing thick leaves that obscured the moonlight. It was pitch dark compared to most of the other areas that had minimal to some lighting from the two moons that hang above. Unlike the other areas, there was no grass in the field, the ground was barren, only soft dirt, soil, and the occasional rocks thrown about. "This is where the sound originated from, but where is that person screaming for help, please don't tell me I'm too late," said Zyle while he waved his torched hand to look around.
Then as he turned to his far left, he froze! because what he saw next was a complete horror show. There! Two creatures could be seen fighting over a dead boar, as they clinging their arms against each other. One of them leaned their head backward and yelled "Help, Help Me! Ahhh!"."That's the same voice I heard from before, this is no person...," Zyle thought, both shocked and speechless as he took a giant step back, hoping to sneak away without attracting their attention. Misfortune plagued him as he heard a loud enough crunch sound under his feet only to find himself stepping on dried leaves that had fallen to the ground from the nearby tree. Simultaneously both creatures turned and snarled viciously. Their sharp and jagged teeth were stained with blood, Their upper halves were wooden brown and took on a feminine humanoid form. Their lower halves were like spiders which consisted of 4 legs firmly embedded in the ground kicking up dirt when they shuffled around. They had bladed hands like mantises. There was only one word to describe these creatures-Abominations. Zyle quickly took a defensive stance and analyzed them.

Name: Ladicus
Level:8
Classic: Magical Beast
Grade: Lowest
HP: 500
Attack Power: 50
Speed: 15
Defense: 10
Description: Ladicus are very territorial creatures, with their sharp-bladed hands they are capable of dispatching their prey in one fell swoop. They can also mimic the voice and sound of their victim almost flawlessly.
Both creatures charged in frantically, swinging their arms out like scythes. Zyle quickly dodged several strikes and rolled out of the way, potentially avoiding some fatal blows. From the looks of it, the creature was mainly aiming for his head, neck, and upper torso. Zyle knew most of the creature's vital spots were their head. As a human being, he was no exception, in fact, he assumed he had way more vital spots than any of them. He would not risk getting hit with those bladed hands so his best bet is to dodge them all. However, He was handicapped by the fact that his only source of light was his lit hand, while the other hand was tightly gripping his sword. From the distance he made between the creatures and himself, he stretched out his lit hand and the creatures had stopped advancing. He attempted to shoot out a fireball or shoot the fire out of his hand like a flame thrower but what happened next was almost comical. The fire plopped out about 8 inches from his palm, harmless hit the ground then sizzled out."Dammit," said Zyle as he plunged his sword to the ground in front of him. Then he connected both hands to increase the fire's projection and strength. At its current level, Zyle's ability is limited to one to two localized body parts at a time. As the ability levels up the stronger and the more areas, it would cover which means, there was plenty of room for improvement in the future. Although the distance of the stronger flame shot trajectory had increased to 1 and a half feet, it still fell to the ground and sizzled out once again."Oh, come on !" Zyle protested but he did not despair because a key fact stood out to him. The creatures were not approaching they seemed cautious of the fire. A note worth fact was that the creatures when they attacked earlier, their attack pattern was strange. they were only swinging to the right side of Zyle's side body, the side that had no visible fire. No, it was more than caution, it was fear. With his stretched left hand, he looked around him and then smiled. "I think I have a great idea," said Zyle deviously.
