"I..." Ray looks at Victoria, shocked by her request. After a long pause, he continues, "Yes... I could. If that is what you want, but have you thought about what that will mean?"
"I know what it will mean," Victoria nods with a sullen look. Her voice becomes a little clearer, and her sentences longer, but her words are almost entirely devoid of emotion, "If it means having empty gaps in my memory, then I think it's worth it. I-I don't know if I can live with this, it's all I can think about. I couldn't get any sleep, I couldn't eat anything, I can barely breathe! I killed my dad... That's not something I can ever move past. This guilt is going to kill me."
"I understand," Ray nods. Victoria looks over at him with a hint of curiosity in her pained eyes.
